The day I visited a Saint Seiya museum

In recent months I have tried to use my blog as an element that allows me to remember beautiful moments lived, so several times I have reviewed my extensive photo gallery and I have used many of those old photos to make reflections or to describe how I lived those particular experiences. I have always heard that “to remember is to live”, and well, I think that phrase is quite accurate since right now that I am writing this, memories related to that time in my life are coming to me, memories that I undoubtedly treasure.

But let's get into the subject, about 4 years ago, when I still lived in the city of Lima, Peru, I had the opportunity to visit a museum of Saint Seiya, although I have already said that anime is not necessarily one of my great passions, I am trying to give it a chance through movies that I have already seen and that I have reviewed in the community, even so, I have not lived my life with my eyes closed, I know perfectly who are Seiya, Saori and the other knights who star in that mythical story. When I was a child, even though I didn't want to watch this anime, I had to do it because I had no other choice, at home there was only one TV and my older brothers loved to watch Saint Seiya.

So, this museum is located in the Plaza Norte shopping center in the city of Lima, that day we went to eat something and walk around when suddenly we found such a wonderful surprise, the entrance was free and there were not many people interested in entering, so we just agreed without further protocol. I realized that the museum is there on a permanent basis, in other words, even to this day it is working and that is because it attracts many spectators, especially on weekends. And well, as you can see in the photos, there is a large amount of material related to Saint Seiya.

What stands out the most in this museum are the action figures, there are dozens of them, but there are also decks, manga volumes, old and new collectibles, among many other things that have been collected by a guy who has dedicated his whole life to collect Saint Seiya elements, which led him to have a museum in a very important shopping center in Peru, I don't know about you, but it seems to me a complete feat. A not minor fact is that this museum has two Guinness Records for being the site with the largest amount of material related to Saint Seiya in the world.

The throne of Athens was available for those who wanted to prostrate and take pictures, I of course did not waste the opportunity, I was escorted by the golden knight of Leo and the golden knight of Virgo.

Qué experiencia tan genial! Aunque no soy un gran fan del anime, es impresionante ver cómo hay gente tan apasionada que se dedica a coleccionar y compartir su amor por una serie. Gracias por compartir!
