I started reading this manga out of curiosity when I was bored looking for new manga to read, and I found a pretty good, addictive and extremely violent manga. This is a manga to just enjoy the fights, because in terms of plot is quite simple, it is an extreme shonen of fights, its only principle is to show us extremely exaggerated and showy fights.

The story of Shuumatsu No Valkyrie focuses on that every 1000 years there is a meeting of gods of all existing religions, at that meeting by unanimous vote is chosen to eliminate the entire human race, however, Brünnhilde, the leader of the Valkyrie, tells the gods that the human race has the opportunity to get rid of extinction and for this the "Ragnarok Tournament" is formed, where the human race, represented by the most "representative" humans of each era, must fight against the gods to prevent their extinction.

Thus, in this manga we will see the strangest and extremely violent and bloody fights. From Adam himself fighting against Zeus, to Jack The Ripper fighting against Thor, among other characters, this manga represents a tournament for survival of the most bizarre, entertaining and violent.

Shuumatsu No Valkyrie represents gods and humans in a very eccentric way, very exaggerated and with a lot of black humor, but it turns out to be quite entertaining in the fights. It has a pretty good drawing style, very detailed and with very marked expressions of madness. It is a manga with few chapters at the moment, but being monthly, each chapter has enough pages, but for the same reason of being a monthly manga, it makes the wait for each new chapter a little stressful.

Recently an anime adaptation of Shuumatsu No Valkyrie was confirmed, which looks pretty good, at least for now, but I think it can't be as good as its manga, especially because of the censorship it will have. Here is the trailer:
