One Piece is back and once again we are facing an action-packed chapter in which Kaido once again gets hit by everyone. And every time Kaido is in his dragon form is like a punching bag, everyone hits him, but very few attacks really hurt him. But without further ado, the review of the chapter.
One Piece 1002 "Emperors vs The New Generation" starts showing Kaido and Big Mom in the sky, and Kaido performs the same cutting wind attack with which he managed to cut off Kiku's arm. Law manages to dodge the attack by teleporting to another place, but Kid receives the attack on one of his robot's arms, however, being only scrap metal, he doesn't receive any damage. Meanwhile, Zoro epically with a sword deflects Kaido's attack, while he looks quite upset, I think because he recognizes that this attack was the one that managed to cut off Kiku's arm. Luffy dodges thanks to his great speed all the cutting wind attacks and stands in front of Kaido to perform his attack.
Luffy manages to give a direct blow to Kaido in the face, meanwhile Kid takes advantage of the situation of vulnerability, grabs Kaido by the neck and as if he were a WWE wrestler, hits Kaido on the ground. Although they do not do much damage.
While Kaido remembers Kid's attack, Law takes advantage and using the ability of his devil fruit, hits with his sword in Kaido's heart. Law's attack can damage internal organs.
Kaido stands up, saying that "they have managed to study his defense and that they are not as weak as he thought". Meanwhile. Killer takes advantage of the situation and starts to climb up Kaido's body. He performs a sound attack which seems to cause some damage to the Dragon.
However, Killer is hit by a lightning attack from Big Mom, leaving Killer seemingly defeated.
As Killer is falling from the sky, Kaido prepares to devour him, but Luffy stops him by punching Emperor full in the mouth. Kaido quickly recovers from Luffy's attack and prepares to attack him with his "Bolo Breath", at that moment, Zoro asks Law to take him up, and although Law is annoyed at such a request, since he doesn't want to follow anyone's orders, in the end he does it and transports Zoro right in front of Kaido.
Using the same ability as Kinemon and the one he used in the last chapter, Zoro cuts off Kaido's fire attack. And he prepares to attack Kaido using "the style of one sword" just with Oden's sword. The sword, Enma, is covered with flames and Zoro's fury. Kaido is paralyzed before what he has in front of him and Big Mom tells Kaido that he must dodge the attack since that sword is not normal.
Zoro attacks, managing to cut one of the horns of Onigashima's giant skull, however his attack manages to hit Kaido. Zoro still can't control Enma. Kaido feels Oden's presence on that sword and wonders why (Really Kaido?). And Big Mom tells him that he shouldn't have subdued him (Zoro). Then he hits Zoro with one of his lightning attacks.
Big Mom performs another new attack, which consists of a rain of lightning with its own life, which are "remote-controlled" and hit each of the pirates of the new generation. However, we all know what is going to happen in this situation, since Luffy being made of rubber, this attack does not do any damage to him. Something that surprises Big Mom. Kaido without wasting much time, attacks Luffy with a Bolo Breath that manages to hit him directly.
However, Luffy manages to "resist" the attack. Kaido is surprised by this and asks him if he is also immune to his flames. Luffy looks quite hurt by Kaido's attack, but replies that he was able to "resist" his attack thanks to his "guts", and then after saying that sentence, he begins to attack Kaido with a series of blows. Thus ending the chapter.
An excellent chapter, full of action, although this kind of chapters are always quite short, but they are worth it. This week there will be a chapter, so I'll see you at 1003. By the way, tomorrow I will start the review of the Boku no Hero manga, wait for it.
