It's been a while since I posted here and that's mainly because I don't watch as many anime series as I used to. And yes, unfortunately I don't have as much time as before and the little that I have left I'm using it to resume some hobbies that I had abandoned. Among these hobbies is drawing and, although I'm not very good at it, I enjoy it a lot. So today I decided to share with you a Naruto Fan Art, which I made by hand and mixes a young version of this character with the Christmas theme.
The more knowledgeable and fans of this series may realize that there are two things that don't fit. The first is that the costume that Naruto wears does not match the classic orange suit with black stripes and this is because traditionally at Christmas a red sweater is worn. The second thing that also doesn't fit is that such a young version of Naruto should not have a bandana on his forehead, as he has not yet graduated as a Genin at the Academy and, while it is true, I think that attachment is necessary when drawing Naruto. That's why we must assume he stole it from Iruka.

Hace tiempo que no publicaba acá y eso se debe principalmente a que ya no veo tantas series de anime como antes. Y es que sí, por desgracia ya no tengo tanto tiempo como antes y el poco que me sobra lo estoy utilizando para retomar algunos hobbies que había abandonado. Entre estos hobbies está dibujar y, aunque no se me da muy bien, lo disfruto mucho. Así que el día de hoy he decidido compartir con ustedes un Fan Art de Naruto, el cual hice a mano y mezcla una versión joven de este personaje con la temática de la Navidad.
Los más conocedores y fanáticos de esta serie se podrán dar cuenta de que hay dos cosas que no encajan. La primera es que el traje que lleva Naruto no coincide con el clásico traje naranja con rayas negras y esto se debe a que tradicionalmente en Navidad se utiliza un suéter rojo. Lo segundo que tampoco encaja es que una versión tan joven de Naruto no debería poseer una bandana en la frente, pues aún no se ha graduado como Genin en la Academia y, si bien es cierto, creo que ese aditamento es necesario a la hora de dibujar a Naruto. Es por eso que debemos asumir que se la robó a Iruka.

The drawing mostly has a Chibi style, so I started by drawing the outline of the head, the ears and some greaves on the sides.
El dibujo en su mayoría posee un estilo Chibi, así que empecé dibujando el contorno de la cabeza, las orejas y algunas greñas a los lados.
On top of the head I drew a Christmas hat and further down the bandana with the Konoha village logo. I marked the inside of the ears, added more strands of hair on the back of the head and a pompom to the Christmas hat.
Encima de la cabeza dibujé un gorro de Navidad y más abajo la bandana con el logotipo de la aldea Konoha. Marqué el interior de las orejas, agregué más mechones de pelo en la parte trasera de la cabeza y un pompón al gorro navideño.
Around his neck I put a scarf and further down a sweater. While I was drawing the hands, I stopped for a few minutes to think, because at first I wanted to draw a Rasengan or a Kunai, but as I said before, this Naruto is still a child, so he doesn't carry weapons or Ninjutsu techniques.
Alrededor del cuello le puse una bufanda y más abajo un suéter. Mientras dibujaba las manos, me detuve unos minutos a pensar, pues en una primera instancia quería dibujar un Rasengan o un Kunai, pero como ya dije anteriormente, este Naruto es un niño todavía, así que no porta armas ni técnicas de Ninjutsu.
In the end I decided on a gift box and a huge candy cane. These objects were more in keeping with the age and theme of the drawing.
Al final me decidí por una caja de regalos y un enorme bastón de caramelos. Estos objetos eran más acordes a la edad y temática del dibujo.
For the end I left what for me is always the most difficult thing when it comes to drawing: the face. Although this style of drawing is based on children's faces with few features, the truth is that I tried to make a happy face and I got an obsessed expression. I guess it's not so bad, since children are obsessed with Christmas.
Para el final dejé lo que para mí siempre es lo más difícil a la hora de dibujar: el rostro. Si bien este estilo de dibujo se basa en rostros infantiles con pocos rasgos, la verdad es que intenté hacer una cara feliz y me quedó una expresión de obsesión. Supongo que no es tan malo, ya que a los niños les obsesiona la Navidad.
From this point comes the fun and de-stressing part of drawing. I took a red color and started to scratch over and over again on top of that Christmas hat.
A partir de este punto llega la parte divertida y desestresante de dibujar. Tomé un color rojo y comencé a rayar una y otra vez encima de ese gorro navideño.
After the hat, I used one black and one gray color to paint the bandana and outline the entire white and plush part of the hat and the pompom.
Luego del gorro, utilicé un color negro y otro gris para pintar la bandana y dar un contorno a toda la parte blanca y felpuda del gorro y el pompón.
With two variants of yellow I colored the hair to achieve the typical look of Naruto's hair.
Con dos variantes de amarillo di color al pelo para lograr el típico aspecto del cabello de Naruto.
With dark and light blue, I filled in the eyes, applied black to the upper parts of the eye and the rims, as well as the mouth. I also used a warm skin color to take away the pale tone of the cheeks on the face and ears.
Con azul oscuro y claro, rellené los ojos, apliqué negro a las partes superiores del ojo y los bordes, al igual que a la boca. También utilicé un color piel cálido para quitarle el tono pálido de las mejillas en la cara y las orejas.
At the bottom everything is red and green, both the sweater and the scarf and the objects in his hand. To experiment a bit, I used a different variation of red on the candy cane and the folds of the clothing to darken those areas.
En la parte inferior todo es rojo y verde, tanto el suéter como la bufanda y los objetos que tiene en la mano. Para experimentar un poco, utilicé una variante distinta de rojo en el bastón de caramelos y en los pliegues de la ropa para oscurecer esas áreas.
To finish, I decided to add a colorful border to each part of the drawing, using a multi-colored pen. I had never done this before and I really liked the result.
Para finalizar, decidí agregarles un borde colorido a cada parte del dibujo, utilizando un bolígrafo de múltiples colores. Nunca había hecho esto y me gustó mucho el resultado.
