Hello Hivers!
I am almost sure that you have heard about the renowned detective Sherlock Holmes, who has gone down in history as one of the most recognized fictional characters in the world. But I am not here to talk about him in general.
Like any good character, there must be an enemy within the story that counteracts it, and just as there are those who solve crimes, on the other hand, there is someone who is the mastermind behind them all.
This is the case of a good anime I found some time ago, which consists of two seasons, although I have only watched the first one at the moment, and of which today I have come to express my opinion about it.
YUUKOKU NO MORIARTY | THE MASTERMIND BEHIND CRIME.
Dating from the year 2020, the creation of the Japanese animation Yuukoku no Moriarty, under the direction of Kazuya Nomura, details a story based on the fictional world of Arthur Conan Doyle's books.
This Japanese animation shows us the life and childhood of our protagonist William James Moriarty, from the beginnings of his story that took him from being an orphan with an exceptional intelligence, to a respected aristocrat, who after exercising his profession as a teacher, at the same time is characterized as a crime consultant.
Although William James Moriarty in the story of Sherlock Holmes would occupy the role of antagonist, this anti-heroic character maintains prominence within this plot, his plot.
Developing as a "crime consultant", because of his born intelligence, William James Moriarty takes time to help people of lower classes to plan their crimes against people of much higher social class, this for his notorious attitude against the highborn.
Adding its accurate dash of high mystery, the atmosphere and the drawing look well rendered, indeed, it continues to maintain its characteristic grim look to the animation.
The character development I can also say is pretty cool, both of the main characters and the other characters that are integrated into the story.
I liked the way in which the plot of the story was well reflected in animation, with excellent dialogues and good use of characteristic elements in its composition. To tell the truth, I had no idea what the anime was about before watching it, since I didn't inform myself beforehand, but in spite of that, it was a good decision to watch it.

It's another anime I just passed by from the list. Seems like something I would revisit so I'll make a mental note of this one.

This anime reminded me a bit of Death Note, atleast the vibe of two smart people fighting not with fists , not with guns but with brains. It was definitely cool show.
