Hello dear anime loving community, this past week I was a little full, but... in the time I had I saw an anime that still resonates within me. It's not as if I haven't seen it before, but the way it's told came in a way I didn't expect. It is already an old anime and I imagine that many of you saw it and it would cause you more or less impact. So let's talk about Orange.... (like every post I hope not to make spoilers, but... with my endnotes I possibly will).

"Orange" is an anime that immerses us in a touching story about friendship, regret and hope. The plot follows Naho Takamiya and her group of friends, whose life is completely changed by the arrival of Kakeru Naruse. At first, Kakeru is a shy boy, but his kindness and warmth soon make him part of the group. However, after his first day at the new school, his smile hides a deep sadness, a guilt that consumes him and torments him day and night.

One day, Naho receives a letter. The letter comes from his future self and accurately describes the events that are about to occur. In it, there is a warning: he must save Kakeru from a tragic fate. She soon discovers that she is not the only one to receive this message from the future. Together with her friends, she faces a difficult question: is it possible to change someone's destiny without altering everything else?

As they try to follow the directions on their cards, Naho and the others learn that every small action can make a difference. But will it be enough to save Kakeru, or are there fates that cannot be avoided...?

I'll start by wiping away my tears and asking a question
What is the true face of depression?

I watched this anime in a few days, and it left me speechless and asking myself that question. So many times we see so many people smiling and being in good times and bad for us and we have no idea of the inner struggles of that "friend". I know that not all of us are so open to tell our problems, for fear of telling the wrong person and that plays more against us.

Just that happened in the anime, Akeru in his alternate future confided to tell his old friends, his desire to no longer be in the world and they just laughed at him, they thought it was a joke. Leading him to think that he, as a person, was not important, if he was or not in this world nobody would care, besides the person who gave him life, was no longer there.

Now I think that it is useless to have a million friends, if in the end we do not trust any of them to unburden our sorrows. We can have good times with anyone, but it has always been said, "in the worst moments we often find no one", and it is a truth that is not usually accepted.

Orange is a play that gives you food for thought on many things, one of which left me wondering how much we are willing to risk for our friends. There was a part that I imagined myself playing that role, the friend who risks his lifelong love to save his friend from an imminent end....

This anime for me is a 9/10, I highly recommend it, besides it has 2 themes that I like, a game between the past and the future, as well as romance.

I'm sorry, where could I watch this beauty? Lovedbyour word on this review, by the way.

hello... in English I don't know, since I have pages only in Spanish, sorry.

a hug and thanks for stopping by.

I speak español, jaja. Recommend me, friend. 💚

I've seen the anime before, I cried when I watched it, your review made me remember. As much as I love it, it also made me jealous of Kakeru, he has really amazing friends.

I would like to have friends like them too, only that the culture and how we form relationships with the people around us is very different and well... it's complicated. I am also envious, but of the good kind hahahaha

a big hug.

This was beautifully written, I wrote about "You name" some min ago and its giving the same vibes, I am sure I will love this one too. Is it on netflix or one has to download it?

hello... now looking for it, it's on Crunchyroll, I don't know if it's in english, you have to check. Your name is a great movie, I also cried when I saw it.

a hug and thanks for stopping by.

I have to subscribe on crunchy roll before I can watch it and I don’t want to 😫😫

I will only say that Suwa is one of those people who only appear once every 1000 years haha I loved that character, everything he sacrificed to help Akeru, you could see that this character had too much depression, but sometimes that face is not seen at all and when the fatal moment comes, no one can believe it, the signs are scarce, but depression is a disease that is very important and is as serious as any other, if not, you have to see how a depressed brain comes out in a study that is almost not performed 😢

It is an excellent anime, with a deep reflection and a few tears haha

Thank you for sharing this post with the community and for preferring us, it is a pleasure for us to have you here.

We hope to see you soon. Best regards!

Hello, thanks to you for the space, a big hug to all the team.

I think the future letters feature is brilliant. Not only does it add that sci-fi touch, but it explores the weight of regret. I liked how Naho and her friends, although clumsy at times, show that small actions (a message, a gesture) can be a lifeline for someone drowning in silence. Good review!

looks interesting, very good review, I'll take it into account hehe
