Greetings friends. It is always a pleasure for me to be able to share with you sculptures.

About a week ago I shared with you a Puar figurine I made.

Well, I just finished a new figurine for my Dragon Ball collection, a very well known and popular character in the first part of this anime, Oolong.

Saludos amigos.

This character, along with Puar and Yamcha, is very comical, cool and with a lot of personality. So I thought it was a good idea to continue with him.

I will do it, as with the others, in a chibi style. Puar and Oolong are much smaller personalities than Yamcha or the others, so I won't do it to scale because they would be too small. So I started to do it with the feet, little black slippers as you can see in the image below.

First I looked for several Oolong outfits and although I found many, I decided for the most formal one, a little suit that Oolong wears and I combined it with some other things I saw of the character.

But notice that after making the shoes, I continued with the pants. This is a light purple color, almost a pastel color.

This pant had to be fixed very well on the feet, so I used glue to add to some holes I made in the legs to nail the wires that support the shoes. The glue would fix the shoes better.

I also left up some wooden sticks that would serve as support for what would be the chest of the character. If you notice, the sticks are in the direction of the length of the legs, that is to say that all the legs will be connected with the rest of the figure, which translates into a good base.

Evidently I used glue for the toothpicks and I also used glue between the two pieces of plasticine that I placed, which as you can see is the chest of the figurine, in a pastel pink color.

The little tie was something I really liked. So I was excited to make it and when I put it in place I said to myself “how nice it looks”. So I made the neck and the little arms. Using glue on each piece to continue giving good support to each piece.

To finish the body I nailed a last wooden stick in the center of the body, which goes through the whole piece to serve as a good support for the head, which generates solidity in the figure.

I made the head with the typical Oolong shape and the look I did with that mischievousness that characterizes the character, which went very well with the outfit I had.

In this way the figurine was finished. Below is a series of photographs of the final result:

Sort:

It was very good, I didn't remember this Dragon Ball character haha but you made a nice replica ❤️

He is a character who was almost always with Puar and Yamcha. He is a secondary character from the first Dragon Ball, when Goku was a little boy.
