Hehe, a cruel question considering the fact that for a large part of the population, the ringing on the phone is a signal ending a short sleep and calling them to the collective farm xD. But let's assume I live in a perfect world...
I choose Pegasus Fantasy. Although I hate this anime due to the poor plot after season 1 and the disgusting (even for shounen) repetition. That said, Saint Seiya also has one of the best openings ever. The song is already several decades old, and yet I can only name a few songs that are equally good in every respect. It's hard to think of a better recommendation for any art form. Why did I choose him? For three reasons.
It's a cult anime that I know from my childhood, so even if it wakes me up a few times earlier than I would like, my negative associations will disappear quickly. And even if it were otherwise, since I don't like this anime, I won't listen to it very often. So a small loss, a win-win situation.
It's a dynamic song and starts with a bang, so it's perfect as an alarm clock that will wake up even the heaviest sleepyhead. I don't like dancing myself, but whenever I hear a popular or dynamic song, I start dancing. True, I do it in any way, but the most important thing is joy, right?
And as I said at the beginning, first of all, it's a very good song and it has everything that such a song should have. A singer with a charismatic voice, the chorus is loud enough, the atmosphere is just as good regardless of whether you know the anime or not.
One more aspect. Quite a lot of openings sound better in their shorter or longer versions, but in the case of Pegasus Fantasy, both are equally pleasant to listen to.
I noticed it was also being recommended. I'm actually surprised you still remembered the song even when you hate the anime, and that it's been years since this anime has been released, right? Your memory is just amazing.
Awww, I felt embarrassed :D. Yes, I have known this song for over 20 years. I didn't like anime since I was a teenager, but when I was 20-25 years old (when it was then) I wanted to catch up, but after watching 2 seasons, a few movies and checking with a few friends that the story pattern was always the same, I stopped watching. But music is awesome! I don't know if it's true, but I heard that the SS anime saved the manga from being canceled in Shounen Jump.
