Hello everyone!!
Among the neighbors, one who bothered him the most was a brat named Kotoishi Naru. However, in the end, Handa became familiar with the boy after going through many ordinary things that really impressed him.
I learn so many things from this anime, and I want to share them with you guys.
Pride
Having pride is a thing, but leaving criticism because your pride is too high only destroys yourself.
How to accept failure
In the midst of his exile, Handa is still productive and tries to write articles that he hopes will receive good criticism and evaluation. He was also still participating in various calligraphy competitions at that time.
But in one competition he only managed to get a second-place which then frustrated him. Seeing Handa who was very sad at that time, Naru comforted him by saying "If you're not happy, then let's play!"
Maybe Naru was just saying something natural for a child, but something natural was what Handa needed at that moment to calm his high pride.
Regret for doing something is better than do nothing
This is something that commonly happens to us. Too much thinking about the risks that will occur rather than looking at what experiences we will get when doing something.
Handa is also like that, he sometimes thinks too much to anticipate failure and is often made nervous by it.
Sometimes, we do lose
The grandmother said that sometimes people keep looking up without knowing that sometimes opportunities come from directions they do not know.
Handa who was still upset about his failure then asked her, what he should do even though he tried but he still couldn't win. And the grandmother replied, "Say, 'go on ahead."
Just a simple sentence. But if you think about it again, you will realize that in that sentence there is a generosity to encourage people that it’s okay to lose. You can learn from that, and you’ll be someone even better.
You need rest!
Achievements sometimes make people more ambitious. There's nothing wrong with being ambitious, but sometimes we just need to rest without having to think about winning or losing. Handa realizes that he just needs a rest sometimes after being exiled to the island.
What had happened to Handa is so much related to our lives. That’s why I love this anime so much and won’t stop watching it until now. I rewatch Barakamon at least once every three months to keep my mind sane, lol.
That’s all for today. I hope this post is worthy enough to be read in this community.
Have a good day and see you soon!
Hello @hirokeeh. Nice analysis of this anime as it compares to daily lives.
I wanted to inquire about your first image. You indicate that it was taken from Amazon. Are images in Amazon free for anyone to copy and use in their blogs?
Thanks for sharing your article.
Thank you very much for stoping by.
Actually I'm still in doubt about the image on amazon. I used the image because that's an official art from the anime (not a fanart by a fanart artist). Official art usually free to use as promotional or articles. I'll check it again about it later. And thank you for pointed it out ❤️
Thanks for your response. Check to see if you can use others' work if you will be receiving rewards (commercial use). Amazon's Terms of Use or License will give you that information since they don't own the artwork themselves.
Take care.
Thank you again for reminding me.
Since I'm not sure about it, I decided to change the image with the screencap from the official site.
Have a good day ❤️
Took you long enough to post about anime from the weeaboo intro.
