Summary
In this story we see two children who are mistakenly switched at birth and here one is named Nagi and one is named Erika. They study at a private high school. One day he meets Erika Amano and Erika blackmails him with a small matter. Erika says that her parents have arranged a marriage with a boy and she goes there to be his boyfriend and tells her father that she likes this boy and wants to marry him and asks him to be her fake boyfriend. And from here the story of this anime begins. From then on they both start getting to know each other and both start getting attracted to each other.
Story
The main character of this story is Nagi Umino. Nagi Umino is a high school student. He is very talented and hardworking but he had a big accident when he was young. He is from a rich family but in the hospital he was mistakenly switched with another family. That is why his current family is an ordinary middle class and his family runs a restaurant. But he did not know that he is from a rich family and his days go by like this.
After a long time he finds out that he is from a rich family. Then Nagi Umino's real parents want to take him back. The day Nagi Umino goes to meet his real father, he meets a girl named Erika Amano. Then this matter becomes more complicated when Nagi Umino's real parents decide to marry him to their real daughter, Erika Amano. Now we are another character in this anime whose name is Erika Amano.
This Erika Amano is a famous social media influencer. When she finds out that she is married to Nagi Umino and that it is against her will, she tries to convince Nagi so that they can break up. But things take a turn for the worse. Nagi liked another girl named Sagawa Hiro. This girl is her schoolmate and secretly has a crush on her. But when Erika and Nagi are together, they gradually develop feelings for each other and start liking each other. On the other hand, Nagi had a younger sister named Sachio.
But when Nagi's younger sister finds out that they are not real siblings, Nagi's younger sister Sachio slowly starts developing special feelings for her. This creates a love triangle, where Nagi has to decide who her true love is? Towards the end of the story, we see that Nagi and Erika's relationship is slowly getting closer, but there is a problem.

My Explanation
A Couple of Cuckoos is a romance-comedy anime. Where two children are accidentally switched and their story is told here. The main characters of this story are Nagi and Erika who never knew they were accidentally switched but when they find out that they were accidentally switched, they try to mix with their real families. But due to fate, they get involved with each other. This story is very funny. In this story, you will find many scenes of humor along with romance, due to which this story has become more exciting. I liked this story a lot. The animation of this anime is very good and its characters are well presented. The background art of this anime is quite good and well detailed. The sound quality and voice acting are quite good. This can be a good anime for those who enjoy light romance-comedies. Finally, I really liked the anime. I hope you will like it a lot. I remember watching this anime, one of the first of the RomCom genre that I knew. And well, with a somewhat interesting story regarding the family theme and all that, there are many love triangles, double entendres and clichés of every typical youth romantic story.
