It looks great, I think it is one of those anime in which the game and mental manipulation is fundamental, for sure there is more than one character that suffers a lot.

Thanks for the review. I had fun with this years back but also didn’t expect a massive amount from it. It’s got some crazy ideas and the way the fights were handled were not just a simple “hit till they die” affair most of the time. I only had two issues: the series wasn’t long enough and some of the pacing was inconsistent, making certain reveals and characters feel wasted. 😃
I also got that feeling, the author wanted to capture the plot as fast as possible and reduce the staging of the battles, I guess because of the number of episodes he was given to capture the work in anime.
Some fights were very summarized...or they arrived late to see the battles like when you watch a soccer match late.
I think that being a series that is not focused on releasing a video game and making a profit in playstation or xbox, they didn't give it an open letter to animate longer episodes, I mean this series has a social plot but not battles.
Even so it is different, maybe by being a pioneer in its genre of battles with Bitcoin and stock market, may serve as inspiration for other series that can capture it better.

I actually got hooked on first episode, but as the story goes on, I got bored that I finished it without really understanding it all. I just finished it so that I can add it to my "watched anime." But, I don't know what went wrong, maybe because I had enough frustration that I just give up on it. Anyways, nice review ✨

If it happens, I found this anime out of curiosity, although it's clear that watching one episode after another in one day is much easier to digest the plot than 1 episode a week.
In that aspect the anime usually fails because the mechanics is not to feel euphoria to see them fight on screen, because there are many series of digital creatures, I think the plot is to try to save the population of the world that is innocent victim of these duels as a consequence of this annihilation.
