I hope I'm not wrong but I feel that this anime is not being talked about as it should be. When I saw it when it premiered last year I was really surprised by the quality of it to the point that the first season was a success and at the same time full of quality. A lot of impatience waiting a full year to see its continuation but it has finally arrived and I must say something: in the episodes so far, I consider that it is already surpassing the first season but by a very long stretch. Obviously this has been fueled by the way that season ended, making us think that the best was yet to come, which is indeed the case.

Espero no estar equivocado pero siento que no se está hablando como se debería de este anime. Cuando lo vi al momento de estrenarse el año pasado la verdad quedé muy sorprendido por la calidad del mismo al punto de que esa primera temporada fue un éxito al mismo tiempo que llena de calidad. Mucha impaciencia esperar un año completo para ver su continuación pero finalmente ha llegado y debo decir algo: en los episodios que van hasta ahora, considero que ya está superando a la primera temporada pero por un tramo bien largo. Obviamente esto ha sido alimentado por la forma en la que culminó aquella temporada haciéndonos pensar que lo mejor estaría por llegar cosa que en efecto es así.

Basically we have Sung Jinwoo, a human hunter with the lowest rank in existence who had a second awakening and is now one of the most powerful and fearsome. The interesting thing is that he doesn't do this because he likes it or because of some kind of interest in this world, he only moves for and for his mother who is sick. He needs to find three “ingredients” to form a kind of elixir in order to save her. Along the way, Sung becomes stronger and stronger, which attracts the attention of the other hunters and authorities, generating a very entertaining plot. This is the basics. Now, why do I say it has improved?

Basicamente tenemos a Sung Jinwoo, un cazador humano con el rango más bajo que existe que tuvo un segundo despertar y ahora es de los más poderosos y temibles. Lo interesante es que él no hace esto por que le guste o por algún tipo de interés dentro de este mundo, él solo se mueve por y para su madre quien está enferma. Necesita buscar tres "ingredientes" para formar una especie de elixir para así poder salvarla. En ese camino Sung se va volviendo cada vez más fuerte lo que hace que llame la atención de los otros cazadores y autoridades generando una trama bien entretenida. Esto es lo básico. Ahora, por qué digo que ha mejorado?

In relation to the first season we have seen a considerable increase in action, at least there is a fight in each chapter, but not just any fight, we are talking about a level of animation like very few anime have. To give you a context of the quality, episode 6 has been rated with a 9.8/10 by the people of IMDb and I can certainly say that this has been the best of the two seasons. The fluidity with which you show us those scenes, all the resources used: slow motion, 3D and above all the context that is always behind makes everything much more enjoyable. In fact, in that sixth chapter is where Sung really shows who he is and what he is capable of doing, something he has always tried to keep secret.

En relación a la primera temporada hemos visto un incremento considerable de la acción, por lo menos hay una pelea en cada capítulo, pero no cualquier pelea, estamos hablando de un nivel en la animación como muy pocos animes tienen. Para que tengan contexto de la calidad que hay el episodio 6 ha sido valorado con un 9.8/10 por la gente de IMDb y es que ciertamente puedo decir que ese ha sido el mejor a lo largo de las dos temporadas. La fluidez con la que nos muestras esas escenas, todos los recursos usados: la cámara lenta, el 3D y sobretodo el contexto que siempre hay detrás hace que todo sea mucho más disfrutable. De hecho, en ese sexto capítulo es donde Sung muestra realmente quien es y de lo que es capaz de hacer, cosa que siempre ha tratado de mantenerla en secreto.

The urgency is much more noticeable as it is not long before he gets what he is looking for, this is good for the plot because unlike the first one where Sung had already started the search back then he was not as strong as he is now. His abilities increase so he obviously becomes more reckless and with that the plot takes off. Although the highlight is everything related to these battles, the plot is also very cool; that competition to see who is the best among all the hunters, that “envy” in the environment, the surprise to really understand Sung's power makes everything add up.

Se nota mucho más la urgencia ya que falta poco para que él consiga lo que tanto está buscando, esto a la trama le viene bien porque a diferencia de la primera en donde ya Sung había comenzado la busqueda en aquel entonces no era tan fuerte como lo es ahora. Sus capacidades aumentan por lo que obviamente él se vuelve más temerario y con eso la trama agarra más vuelo. Aunque el plato fuerte sea todo lo relacionado a estas batallas también la trama fuera de eso está muy cool; esa competencia por ver quien es el mejor entre todos los cazadores, esa "envidia" que hay en el ambiente, la sorpresa al entender realmente el poder de Sung hace que todo sume.

There are 5 chapters left for the end where many things can happen, I think that what is coming will be better because they already showed a new problem, there is a new character out there that has not been talked about much but that I have a feeling will be key for what is left. I feel this anime is still very underrated, I easily put it on par with a gem like Jujutsu Kaisen. In summary what we have seen so far of the second season is far superior to the previous season, more depth in the characters and their relationships, much more level in the fights and action scenes which makes the overall story much more complete. A lot of hype for the rest, if you have not seen it, I recommend it without any doubt.

Faltan 5 capitulos para el final en donde pueden pasar muchas cosas, creo que lo que se viene será mejor porque ya asomaron un nuevo problema, hay un nuevo personaje por ahí suelto del que no se ha hablado mucho pero que presiento será clave para lo que queda. Este anime lo siento muy subvalorado todavía, fácilmente lo pongo a la par de una joya como Jujutsu Kaisen. En síntesis lo que hasta ahora hemos visto de segunda temporada es muy superior a la temporada anterior, más profundización en los personajes y sus relaciones, bastante más nivel en las peleas y escenas de acción lo que hace que la historia en general sea mucho más completa. Mucho hype por lo queda, si no la has visto pues te la recomiendo sin ninguna duda.

Hola hermano, cónchale que buen post sobre Solo leveling, he querido verlo pero aun tengo otros animes por terminar, mi cuñado y otros amigos me llevan loco que cuando lo voy a ver. He visto algunos videos de algunas peleas y la animación se ve increíble. Este mes no pasa que lo vea.

The only bad thing about this anime is that the chapters end so soon 😅. I absolutely love Solo Leveling, it's easily one of the best ones I've seen. I totally agree with everything you said, it's definitely a story that deserves more attention because of how incredibly good it is.

That's the bad thing about anime, the 20 minute chapters are too short for all the hype they generate. But yes, I think this particular one is still way under the radar, I agree with you, it's one of the best I've seen in a long time. Both in story and animation it's impressive how good it is.

You're right when you say that more should be said about this anime that, in many ways, is making history on the internet with a plot and characters that can go unnoticed. While the cliché theme of the typical cheated protagonist with "given power" and all is something that could have led Solo Leveling to be forgotten by many at the time, You have to admit that in terms of spectacle, animation, battles and choreography, it is one of the best that can currently be found in the world of anime.

Totally. That plot of the character who gets his powers out of nowhere and with them begins to attract attention is very repetitive but this anime has done something and that is that it has generated an absurd hype thanks to the immense quality of its animation and the background of its characters; Sung has matured for the better as he gets his powers.

This anime is a must see. Its quality compares to very few others out there. When you can without a doubt give it a chance.

I for one am looking forward to Saturday to see this week's episode. That battle is going to be great. One thing I like about the second season is the animation quality. It's perfect, plus there's no filler. Everything is just like the Manhwa. It's being adapted faithfully.

I will wait for the finale to give my point of opinion. :p

The fight in chapter 6 was crazy, I think the best chapter so far of the whole anime. Chapter 8, the finale, was also very good. I think the last 5 episodes left will be crazy, plus the weird character out there. Lots of hype!
