A big greeting to all those who read me in The Anime Realm and I hope you are having a good time, today I will continue with my Anime Challenge which I presented several weeks ago and that the same more and more people are doing it fact that makes me very happy, if you do not know it yet I invite you to see it and encourage you to participate. Today's post is about the 5th topic of the Challenge which is about the Best Shonen Anime you have seen, since my favorite anime is Shonen and I will talk about it later in the Challenge, I will not repeat it so therefore this post will be about Darling In The Fraxx which is also among my 3 favorite anime.

For those who still don't know this masterpiece, Darling In The Franxx is a Shonen anime which has elements of Romance, Mecha, Drama and Science Fiction where everything takes place in a Post-Apocalyptic world. This anime is relatively recent as it was released in 2018 with a total of 24 chapters and becoming one of the best Anime of that year. It has a standard animation where it does not highlight an incredible level of detail or realism but it is still very good to watch and manages to convey very well the emotions of the story which has a great development with moments of Action, Drama, Mystery and Comedy where each one is well developed without feeling forced or predictable.
As in other Anime Darlign In The Franxx relies on a legend of Chinese culture to give context to its story, more specifically the story of the Jian a bird that has only one wing, one eye and one leg which is unable to fly on its own but by getting a bird to share its wings they are able to fly together. This applies to the Franxx which are the combat Mecha in this anime and which must be piloted by a Boy and a Girl in order to fly and fight. This is the aspect where each of the pairs of pilots in the anime develop a great personal and emotional bond with their partner, the best example of this would be Hiro and Zero Two the main characters of the anime.
Darling In The Franxx initially presents us with a story that is a bit incomplete but easy to understand: humanity now lives in large mobile mechanical fortresses called Plantations that move around the desolate planet's son-in-law to collect energy from the earth's magma, a large number of mechanical enemies called Klaxosaurs also react to the Magma energy and attack the plantations therefore the young pilots of the Franxx must protect the plantation by defeating them and also protect the adults who in this anime are practically never observed and always have their faces covered. Although it leaves several doubts at the beginning, the concept is easy: the kids must protect the city and that's it.
With the passing of the chapters the story becomes much more interesting with the revelation of events and the past of the earth, the truth about the adults, the development of the Franxx as well as the past of Zero Two and Hiro where we discover that they had already met many years ago but none of them knew it, even the past of the planet turns out to have interesting mysteries which still continue to the present of the characters. An involving story that entertains and keeps the expectation at every moment at the same time that knows how to combine in a very good way the scenes of Romance and Drama with the Action to give a great result.
Darling In The Franxx is undoubtedly one of the best shonen I've seen both for having a very good and somewhat different story of romance and drama as well as for knowing how to keep you intrigued about what will happen in the next chapters and what will be the truth behind all the doubts and mysteries that the plot tells us, a story very well developed and narrated in a very good way. Perhaps one of the things that could be criticized the most about Darling In The Franxx would be its ending, since this story had first its Anime version and later its Manga ending, as it could be expected the Manga ending that was published in the year 2020 had a quite different ending than the Anime due to the fact that many people were not satisfied with the ending because of how rushed it felt, besides leaving an ending open to interpretation and the doubt of a possible second season or not.
Personally, although the Manga's ending may be clearer and less prone to interpretation, it also ends up being much less emotional and tragic than the Anime's ending, since the way Zero Two and Hiro end up, although it could be considered a happy ending, it can also fall into the typical stereotypes of Shonen Romantics. Additionally Darling In The Franxx has one of the best openings for my taste along with some incredible endings. All this combined results in a fantastic and exciting Shonen with a dynamic and emotional story where if you are a fan of Dramatic and Romantic Anime you will definitely end up liking this story a lot.

En el post de hoy toca el 5to tema del Challenge el cual se trata del Mejor Anime Shonen que Hayas Visto, dado que mi anime favorito es Shonen y hablare del mismo más adelante en el Challenge, no lo voy a repetir así que por lo tanto este post se tratara de Darling In The Fraxx el cual también está entre mis 3 animes favoritos.

Para quienes aun no conozcan esta obra maestra, Darling In The Franxx es un anime Shonen el cual tiene elementos de Romance, Mecha, Drama y Ciencia Ficción en donde todo transcurre en un mundo Post-Apocalíptico. Este anime es relativamente reciente ya que fue publicado en el año 2018 con un total de 24 capítulos y llegando a ser uno de los mejores Animes de ese año. Cuenta con una animación estándar en donde no destaca un nivel de detalle o realismo increíble pero igual resulta muy buena de ver y logra trasmitir muy bien las emociones de la historia la cual tiene un gran desarrollo con momentos de Acción, Drama, Misterio y Comedia en donde cada uno es bien desarrollado sin llegar a sentirse forzado o predecible.
Al igual que en otros Animes Darlign In The Franxx se apoya en una leyenda de la cultura China para darle contexto a su historia, más específicamente en la historia del Jian un pájaro que solo tiene un Ala, un ojo y una pata el cual es incapaz de volar por su propia cuenta pero que al conseguir una pajera para compartir sus alas son capaces de volar juntos. Esto se aplica al concento de los Franxx que son los Mecha de combate en este anime y los cuales deben ser piloteados por un Chico y una Chica para conseguir volar y luchar. Este es el aspecto en donde cada una de las parejas de pilotos del anime desarrollan un gran vinculo personal y emocional con su compañero, el mejor ejemplo de esto sería Hiro y Zero Two los personajes principales del anime.
Darling In The Franxx en un principio nos presenta una historia un poco incompleta pero fácil de comprender: la humanidad ahora vive en grandes fortalezas mecánicas móviles llamadas Plantaciones que se desplazan por el desolado yerno del planeta para recoger energía del magma de la tierra, una gran cantidad de enemigos mecánicos llamados Klaxosaurios también reacción a la energía del Magma y atacan a las plantaciones por lo tanto los jóvenes pilotos de los Franxx deben de proteger a la plantación al derrotarlos y proteger también a los adultos a quienes en este anime prácticamente nunca se les observa y siempre llevan cubierto el rostro. Si bien deja varias dudas al principio el concepto es fácil los chicos deben proteger la ciudad y listo.
Con el pasar de los capítulos la historia se va volviendo mucho más interesante con la revelación de sucesos y el pasado de la tierra, la verdad sobre los adultos, el desarrollo de los Franxx así como el propio pasado de Zero Two y Hiro en donde descubrimos que ya se habían llegado a conocer muchos años atrás pero ninguno de ellos lo sabía, incluso el pasado del planeta resulta tener misterios interesantes los cuales aún siguen hasta la actualidad de los personajes. Una historia envolvente que entretiene y mantiene a la expectativa en cada momento al mismo tiempo que sabe combinar de muy buena manera las escenas de Romance y Drama con la Acción para dar un gran resultado.
Darling In The Franxx es sin duda uno de los Mejores Shonen que he visto tanto por tener una muy buena y algo diferente historia de Romance y Drama así como por saber mantenerte a la intriga de que sucederá en los próximos capítulos y cual resultara ser la verdad detrás de todas las dudas y misterios que nos va contando la trama, una historia muy bien desarrollada y narrada de muy buena manera. Tal vez una de las cosas que más se podría criticar de Darling In The Franxx sería su final, dado que esta historia tuvo primero su versión Anime y posteriormente su final en el Manga, como se podría esperar el final del Manga que se publicó en el año 2020 tuvo un final bastante diferente al del Anime debido a que muchas personas no quedaron conformes con dicho final por lo apresurado que se sintió además de dejar un final abierto a la interpretación y la duda de una posible segunda temporada o no.
En lo personal si bien el Final del Manga puede resultar más claro y menos propenso a interpretaciones el mismo también termina siendo mucho menos emotivo y trágico que el final del Anime ya que la forma en que terminan Zero Two y Hiro si bien se podría considerar un final feliz también puede caer en los Estereotipos típicos de los Shonen Románticos. Adicionalmente Darling In The Franxx cuenta con uno de los mejores Opening para mi gusto junto con unos increíbles Endings. Todo esto combinado da como resultado un Shonen fantástico y emocionante con una historia dinámica y emotiva en donde si eres fanático de los Animes Dramáticos y Románticos sin duda te terminara gustando mucho esta historia.

¡Este es un anime que me gusta mucho! La verdad no vi el manga pero me agrada mucho todo lo que tiene que ver con el post-apocalíptico y los Mechas... Cuando vi este anime, fue como amor a primera vista 😍
