Anime Fall 2021 - My Top 5 Favorite Endings [ENG -ESP]

New Animes (2).png

The anime season Fall 2021 is about to end and in fact for the following week a large number of anime will have their last chapter of the season while others will still have one more. Having already reached the end of this season what better way to say goodbye than with Endings just like every anime chapter ends, for this post I will present my personal selection of the best 5 Endings of this Fall 2021 season, although this season I consider that it was much better in terms of its Opening we also had very good Endings that were worth watching at the end of each chapter. My list will be only of the anime I watched this season and not of all the anime that were in the season.

Ending Komi-san wa, Komyushou desu

Source

As in my Opening list I also have to place Komi-san among the list of the best Endings of this season and the dedication and quality of this Ending cannot be ignored. Komi-san had two different Endings since only in the first chapter they used an exclusive one that was not used in the rest of the chapters, for this list I include the second Ending called "Hikare Inochi" by "Kitri" which has an extremely slow, soft and relaxing melody and voice where the rhythm and intensity increases slightly towards the end of the Ending but not so much as to lose the general aspect of being a quiet song.
As in its Opening in this Ending we also observe a much more detailed design and animation than in the anime in general, a strong cinematographic aspect with very intense colors and tones at the same time that the shadows and dark tones are used in a great way to give a somewhat nostalgic and warm result.

Ending Mushoku Tensei- Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu

Source

One of the most important anime of this season was undoubtedly the second part of Mushoku Tensei and it is an anime that from beginning to end of each chapter presents a great quality. At the time I mentioned it among my Openings of the season and although it has only had one Ending in the whole season it is as you would expect a masterpiece of artistic beauty, its Ending is "Kaze to Iku Michi" and like all its Openings it is sung by "Yuiko Oohara" who thanks to the quality of her works and such an incredible voice has become my second favorite anime singer after LiSA. As for its rhythm it could be considered similar to Komi-san's Ending but with a little more feeling and emotion, the musical rhythm and a voice full of passion come together to give an incredible result that is perfect for the development of the anime where everything is developing with a tragic atmosphere in the background. Its graphic design combines in a good way scenes and dark tones with moments of joy to show that despite all the situations we must always seek to be happy.

Ending Shinka no Mi- Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei

Source

Shinka no Mi- Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei is an anime that could be considered with an average isekai and that itself has failed to stand out this season due to its own somewhat generic approach, but that can not take away the fact that it has a pretty cheerful and fun Ending which fits quite well with the comedy itself that is used in the anime. Its Endins is "Moonlight Walk" from "Poppin'Party" and it is a quite lively song where the band uses both guitar and drums as the main instruments and the ones that set the whole rhythm of the song. Its design is quite peculiar as it is based on that classic style of old 8-bit video games with side-scrolling views, also you could say that it makes references to classics like Super Mario, Final Fantasy and Mario Kart.

Ending Taishou Otome Otogibanashi

Source

Taishou Otome Otogibanashi could be considered a romantic comedy of the time being based in Japan in the early twentieth century specifically 1923, its story is somewhat interesting and striking to develop all in an ancient time and being a "real" world without magic or fantasy. Its Ending is "Makogoro ni Kanade" from "Shunichi Toki"" and it has a good contrast with the series as it is an Ending with fast and moving rhythms that could remind us of the music of the 70's with pop and funk styles. Its graphic design is peculiar to have the appearance of being quite old drawings on paper which have deteriorated over time in addition to having the characters as new paper cutouts on old backgrounds. A rather cheerful and fast Ending for an anime based on an ancient era that was so simple in many aspects.

Honorable Mention

Ending Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu

Source

As a special mention I will place the Ending of Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu which is about "Arifureta Itsuka" from "Chima". This anime tells us the story of how a young Vampire girl becomes the first cosmonaut and manages to reach space in a nation based in the USSR during the cold war. Its Ending turns out to be quite slow and calm where very subtle choirs accompany the piano and acoustic guitar music to highlight a soft voice but full of emotion and feeling resulting in an incredible Ending that could be considered quite melancholic and sad.
As a way to highlight much more the musical part and make sure that the viewer's attention is totally on the music and lyrics of the Ending, the graphic design of the Ending is quite minimalist as it is mostly just a scene where we see the protagonists in the back while riding a motorcycle and the horizon changes from sunset to night, just the change of the sky will be all that changes in the Ending.

Ending Takt Op. Destiny

Source

It seems that this was the season of slow and sad Endings, but it's just that many of them had this musical style at the same time that they happened to be very good. The Ending of Takt Op. Destiny is called "SYMPHONIA" and it is by "Mika Nakashima". An anime that gives so much relevance in its story to music was almost obligatory to have an incredible Opening and Ending full of emotion, in its Ending shows us a simple melody where the piano accompanies a high-pitched voice and with a melancholic style that at the same time has moments of strength and emotion. This Ending will not show an animation and movement in it, instead it will be static images which give the impression of being oil drawings and where the camera will be the one that will move through them getting a very interesting result.

New Animes (2).png

Ending Mushoku Tensei- Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu

Source

Ending Taishou Otome Otogibanashi

Source

Honorable Mention

Ending Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu

Source

takt. op destiny is really a good anime in this fall as well as the anime ' jobless reincarnation' . I really enjoyed these animes. hope to get the next season of these anime as well.

both have been very good anime. a third season of Mushoku would be great but i don't know how they will go with the manga or novel on which the anime is based since i haven't read it. if it is still well ahead of the anime they could easily announce the third one for mid to late next year.

Not familiar with the other works, only Komi and Mushoko really stood out from the list. I may have skipped the others due to the lack of interest when I was browsing for interesting plots over the recent anime released.

From this list I would only recommend Takt Op. Destiny that becomes a very interesting and eye-catching besides having an incredible animation. the others can be interesting to pass the time but nothing that makes them stand out or out of the "average" still have good Endings haha.

I need to catch up with this anime season :( the only title I'm watching so far is Komi-san cant communicate. I'm really enjoying it. It has a great opening for sure!

yes Komi you have been very good anime and has been very popular, in general I like much more all the scenes where she gets excited and has the huge eyes along with the cat ears than when she is with the "normal" design haha. you should try watching Mushoku and Takt. Op Destiny

Thanks for the recommendations man. I'm gonna check it out after I finish watching Witcher.
