After finishing Dragon Ball Daima, I came to the conclusion that we were all too hard on Dragon Ball GT.

I believe that as the years go by and with the passing of the company's new works, people will slowly appreciate what Dragon Ball GT was.

At this point it is somewhat obvious and evident that Daima is closely inspired by GT. I would even say it's almost a plagiarism because of so many similarities.

With this, a question began to appear: Which is better? Daima or GT? I think most of us agree that GT is better. Despite the mistakes and criticisms it had over the years.

I was discussing this question with a friend and we both agreed that GT is better in almost every aspect. Like for example in the villain, GT's is much more serious, intimidating and dangerous. The one star dragon may not be the best antagonist in the franchise, but he is worthy.
Esta cuestión la estuve debatiendo con amigo y ambos estuvimos de acuerdo en que GT es mejor en casi todos los aspectos. Como por ejemplo en el villano, el de GT es mucho más serio, intimidaste y peligroso. El dragón de una estrella no será el mejor antagonista de la franquicia, pero si es digno.
Daima's is pretty bad. Gomah is a very forgettable villain. He lacks charisma, seriousness and intimidation. Plus his design is poor. Literally, from the neck down he looks exactly like Jiren. So aside from being bad, he's an almost blatant copy.
El de Daima es bastante malo. Gomah es un villano muy olvidable. Carece de carisma, seriedad e intimidación. Sumado a que su diseño es pobre. Literalmente, del cuello hacia abajo es exactamente igual a Jiren. Por lo que aparte de malo, es una copia casi descarada.
Another issue, the transformation of SSJ 4 was better approached and presented in GT. In Daima it was done in a very bland and very out of nowhere way. Simply, Neva shows up, casts a spell and that's it, Goku SSJ 4. In GT it was better constructed. Before the transformation there was a goal, a training and a plan. It wasn't pulled out of the sleeve just because. Goku grows back his tail and upon seeing the earth, he transforms into a golden Ōzaru with no consciousness. So that later, with Pan's help, Goku regains control and we see that SSJ4.

Although I have to admit that in terms of design alone, I personally like Daima's better. I like that the hair color matches the fur color. And that it has large forearms and hands, alluding to a primate.

With all that I have just said, it is more than clear that GT is better than Daima, but now I am going to mention the biggest difference between both products. I am referring to the finish. GT's is infinitely better than Daima's and I don't think anyone will be able to deny me that.
Con todo lo que acabo de decir, queda más que claro que GT es mejor que Daima, pero ahora voy a mencionar la mayor diferencia entre ambos productos. Me refiero al final. El de GT es infinitamente mejor al de Daima y creo que nadie será capaz de negármelo.
The ending of GT was really beautiful. Seeing Goku lying on Shenlong while the narrator says goodbye to him with the opening song in the background was very emotional. I think at this moment, every Dragon Ball fan dropped a tear.
El final de GT fue realmente hermoso. Ver a Goku recostado sobre Shenlong mientras el narrador se despide de él con la canción del opening de fondo, fue muy emotivo. Creo que en este momento, todo fanático de Dragón Ball se le cayó una lágrima.
Daima's ending is too forgettable and generic. Majin Kuu gives the final blow to Gomah, proclaims himself as demon king, says goodbye to the main characters and that's it. I don't know if it gets to be a bad ending as such, but I didn't feel half as much compared to the ending of GT.
El final de Daima es demasiado olvidable y genérico. Majin Kuu le da el último golpe a Gomah, se proclama como rey demonio, se despide de los protagonistas y listo. No sé si llega a ser un final malo como tal, pero no sentí ni la mitad a comparación del final de GT.

Fui fans de Dragon Ball GT desde la primera vez que tuve la oportunidad de verlo. En ese tiempo muchos lo amaron y muchos lo odiaron, pero para mi fue una Joya, y tienes mucha razón en decir lo de que tiene un parecido Daima a GT. Yo me quedo con Dragon ball GT.
