Ahhh, my favorite genre of shoujo anime-- romance, fluff, and slice of life in one frame. It really does a weird way of comforting me whenever I watch it. (This and Kimi ni Todoke somehow heal me in some ways, hahaha)

It's not exactly shoujo (it's a seinen actually), for it's more like slice-of-life and like I mentioned, there's a tinge of disappointment in me when I found out it doesn't have much romance than I expected it to have—but just a tinge tho because I still enjoyed it. It's definitely just like you said—comforting!
