I had heard interesting things about this anime, but the distrust in isekai is always present, I find it hard to have the initiative to watch an anime of this genre.

It's like a civilization video game, you depend on more characters and how you evolve them to gain ranks, transformations and strength. The main hero will not be able to advance by himself as a lone wolf, he is forced to evolve all his allies to improve the chances of winning in a pitched battle.
P.S.: if the enemy side outnumbers them no matter how super powerful the hero thinks he is, the result is that he will lose.
It is interesting to keep the structure of armies vs. armies. Without them you can't win.
