I've read a couple of interesting reviews about this anime in the community, so no doubt it must have its charm, however, it's not for me. I watched Blood+ many years ago, but I'm not sure if this one is related.

Yes, as I said in the post, it is an alternative story that is told here, it has nothing to do with the movie "Blood: The Last Vampire" and the anime Blood+. Still, since it's the first anime of this style that I saw, I really liked it because the story was very understandable and the final outcome is what really captivates you. Even so, it is not the best of its kind, but that does not mean it is bad, quite the opposite. Of course, it's only for those who are fans of gore, so it's not for everyone, that's the problem.
