Plot
The anime begins in a futuristic world not too far away where humanity was visited by living beings with mechanical forms that came from an alternate world in search of humans with whom to merge in order to survive. These are called "Mecha-Ude" because of their resemblance to mechanical limbs. It is here where we meet Hikaru Amatsuga, who is an ordinary high school student who, as fate would have it, meets Alma, a Mecha-Ude from whom he will have to cooperate with and help him escape since he seems to be pursued by the "Kagami Group", who seek to use him for their dark plans of conquest and all that. These meet "ARMS", the resistance group that works to protect the Mecha-Ude from evil groups and organizations that seek to control them and use them as weapons. However, Alma is a one-of-a-kind Mecha-Ude, but she seems to suffer from amnesia as she can't remember anything from her past.

Es aquí donde conocemos a Hikaru Amatsuga, quien es un estudiante de secundaria común y corriente que, por azares del destino, conoce a Alma, un Mecha-Ude del cual tendrá que cooperar con él y ayudarlo a escapar ya que parece ser perseguido por el “Grupo Kagami”, quienes buscan usarlo para sus oscuros planes de conquista y todo eso. Estos conocen a “ARMS”, el grupo de resistencia que trabaja para proteger a los Mecha-Ude de grupos y organizaciones malvadas que buscan controlarlos y usarlos como armas. Sin embargo, Alma es un Mecha-Ude único en su especie, pero parece que sufre de amnesia al no recordar nada de su pasado.

I'm not a big fan of the "Mecha" genre, besides not being a big connoisseur of good series of this style. However, this original anime caught my attention in particular because of how unique it is, not to mention the fact that it has a very different style of drawing and animation than what you can mostly find in the anime world today. But, far from it, it's not like there's much to say about this anime other than people with mechanical prosthetics with their own intelligence and powers that they use for good or evil. This series proves to have that typical lore we know from many action stories where the protagonist always gets the credit in the end, after getting a gifted power and achieving victory in every battle or confrontation he has. In short, this is an anime with fights, talking machines and comedy that serves only to entertain and pass the time.

To begin with, I want to mention something about the story, which at first easily captures the viewer's attention because of its fast-paced pace. Starting with introducing us to the protagonist, Hikaru Amatsuga, who is just a normal high school kid who is attracted by an unknown voice asking for help that leads him to meet Alma, a Mecha-Ude with amnesia. After this strange encounter, the two characters are randomly thrown together, which causes our protagonist to get into trouble with people who are looking for this talking and seemingly special mechanical arm. Although he receives help from ARMS, he is still not completely free from danger, and at the same time he gradually learns about this world that exists beyond his normal, everyday life. Already from this point we notice how everything starts with a thoughtless act of kindness, which led Hikaru to save the life of someone who will later become very important to him.
Aside from the obvious development we see with the main character, we also get to meet several other supporting characters who do well by demonstrating different and striking personalities. While they don't stand out as much compared to the main characters, they do provide us with several interesting relationships that will help them move forward and work together as a team. While we see the "Lore" of the Mecha-Ude develop little by little and discover who the antagonists of this story really are, we also see how Hikaru Amatsuga's life goes from being something normal and even boring to become a complete adventure full of action and danger. With moments of tension and comic moments in turn, this anime manages to capture the attention very well with a good pace and a level of action and humor well balanced in each of its chapters. There are also the plot twists and the occasional character that shows much more remarkable development than the protagonist, even. These details also appeal to me, but nothing compares to the excellently done action sequences it has.

Para empezar, quiero mencionar algo acerca de la historia, la cual al principio capta fácilmente la atención del espectador por su ritmo movido que tiene. Empezando con presentarnos al protagonista, Hikaru Amatsuga, quien es simplemente un chico normal de secundaria que es atraído por una voz desconocida pidiendo ayuda que lo lleva a conocer a Alma, un Mecha-Ude con amnesia. Luego de este extraño encuentro, ambos personajes se unen de forma aleatoria, lo cual causa que nuestro protagonista se vea envuelto en problemas con gente que está buscando a este brazo mecánico parlante y aparentemente especial. Si bien recibe ayuda de ARMS, este igual no se libra por completo del peligro, a su vez que va conociendo poco a poco acerca de este mundo que existe más allá de su vida cotidiana y normal. Ya desde este punto notamos cómo todo empieza con un desconsiderado acto de gentileza, lo cual llevó a Hikaru a salvarle la vida a alguien que luego será muy importante para él.
Aparte del evidente desarrollo que vemos con el personaje principal, también podemos conocer a varios otros personajes secundarios que se desenvuelven bien al demostrar personalidades diferentes y llamativas. Si bien no resaltan tanto, en comparación con los protagonistas, estos cumplen con darnos varias relaciones interesantes que ayudarán a estos a avanzar y trabajar luego en equipo. Mientras vemos desarrollarse poco a poco el “Lore” de los Mecha-Ude y descubrimos quiénes son realmente los antagonistas de esta historia, vemos también cómo la vida de Hikaru Amatsuga pasa de ser algo normal y hasta aburrido a convertirse en una completa aventura repleta de acción y peligro. Con momentos de tensión y momentos cómicos a su vez, este anime consigue capturar muy bien la atención con un buen ritmo y un nivel de acción y humor bien balanceados en cada uno de sus capítulos. También están los giros de guión y uno que otro personaje que demuestra un desarrollo mucho más notable que el del protagonista, incluso. And not to mention the visual effects, such as explosions and the styles and/or designs of the Mecha-Ude, which are also involved in the animation as well. As for the sound effects there is not much to talk about, although it has very good effects, they do not stand out beyond what is expected. The soundtrack of this anime may be one of the best things it has, in addition to its animation, as it complies with giving us those changes or plot twists, in addition to elevate very well the epic moments and pure action that this series has. In short, this is a good anime that mixes in a simple way the action with science fiction and comedy with the aim of entertaining only.
Personally, I give it a 7.5/10 rating as far as the sci-fi/action genre is concerned.

Por último y hablando del apartado visual y técnico, tengo varias cosas que decir al respecto. En cuanto a animación, ya mencioné lo mucho que me llamó la atención, sobre todo al notar que es un estudio nuevo el cual estuvo a cargo de este anime, así como también de su estilo de dibujo único y aparentemente simple a la vez. También está la fluidez en cuanto a la animación se refiere, manteniendo casi siempre el puro estilo 2D, su fluidez en cuanto a secuencias de acción, persecuciones y planos panorámicos están excelentes, siempre cumpliendo con darnos buenos detalles. Y sin mencionar los efectos visuales, como las explosiones y los estilos y/o diseños de los Mecha-Ude, los cuales también están involucrados la animación también. En cuanto a los efectos de sonido no hay mucho de qué hablar, si bien tiene muy buenos efectos, no resaltan más allá de lo esperado. La banda sonora de este anime puede que sea de las mejores cosas que tiene, además de su animación, ya que cumple con darnos esos cambios o giros de trama, además de elevar muy bien los momentos épicos y de pura acción que tiene esta serie. En fin, este es un buen anime que mezcla de forma sencilla la acción con la ciencia ficción y la comedia con el objetivo de entretener únicamente.
Personalmente, le doy una calificación de 7.5/10 en lo que respecta al género de ciencia ficción y acción.

Se ve interesante, más que todo por la historia que cuentas en tu reseña, pero los gráficos y la animación parecen no ser muy buenos.
Bueno, es una animación simple, tampoco es que sea algo tipo MAPPA con Jujutsu Kaisen, es algo más original hecho por un pequeño presupuesto reunido por una comunidad en específico de fanáticos que hicieron realizar este proyecto. No es de lo mejor que se puede encontrar en este género, pero es al menos entretenido.
