Now it is 2039 and Shu Ouma, a 17-year-old boy, accidentally obtains the King's Power, which he will use to physically manifest other people's hearts in order to fight.
Will he manage to completely eradicate the virus and bring peace back to Japan and the world?

Guilty Crown is an anime that stands out in several respects and deserves a closer look. The series, set in a futuristic Japan controlled by the authoritarian GHQ regime, features a plot where Shu Ouma, a seemingly ordinary student, acquires a mysterious power called the King's Power. This allows him to extract Voids, physical manifestations of people's hearts, something that leads him to join the rebel group Funeral Parlor and its charismatic leader, Gai Tsutsugami.

The female protagonist, Inori Yuzuriha, is the lead vocalist of a very popular group called Egoist. She adds an important emotional layer to the development of the story due to her relationship with Shu, however in terms of her development as a character I feel like she fell short. I mean, her presence in the series is only based on Shu leaning on her emotionally and the fact that she is related to Mana Ouma, but nothing more.
La protagonista femenina, Inori Yuzuriha, es la vocalista principal de un grupo muy popular llamado Egoist. Ella añade una capa emocional importante al desarrollo de la historia debido a su relacion con Shu, sin embargo en lo que respecta a su desarrollo como personaje me parece que se quedó corto. Quiero decir, su presencia en la serie se basa solo en que Shu se apoya emocionalmente en ella y en el hecho de que está relacionada con Mana Ouma, pero nada más.

Speaking of other characters, I make special mention to Arisa Kuhouin and Ayase Shinomiya, who have a deep character development due to various circumstances and their decisions have quite a lot of importance in the plot development.

One of the strengths of Guilty Crown is its impressive animation. Produced by Production I.G., this series features detailed designs, eye-catching visual effects and the action sequences are quite fluid. The combat scenes are very well done, mixing dynamic choreography with futuristic sci-fi elements, such as mechas.

I could say that in some aspects of MECHAS it copies parts of Evangellion. Although the context and plot are totally different. Great recommendation.
I wouldn't say every mecha anime is a copy from Evangelion, I would say it's inspired by it.

The cool thing is that I always get things to see that I had no idea about. It looks good, maybe the plot is super cliché because there are several things out there in this style but it will always be interesting to keep an eye on these dystopian things.

/sarcasmI wouldn't be so sure... What could be a worse disservice to community than overwhelmingly positive review of an unworthy show?
While people do enjoy different things, there should be some standards because not everything is OK. Is there such thing as bad anime show? According to Pareto principle, most things are not good, but journey to discover great anime shows can justify checking unworthy ones.
I repeat, that's your opinion. I did like the show and that's why I recommend it. If you didn't like it it's on you and yes, you can decide not recommend it and disagree with me, but you can't come here and attack me just because I liked something you don't.
