hahaha... Never watched the anime version of Naruto. I just read the manga. :D
The anime is a masterpiece. You just need to take out the fillers (with some exceptions) and you'll watch one of the best animes ever.
The manga is enough for me... I don't know why... maybe I'm more of a One Piece fan when it comes to the big three...

I tried catching up to One Piece when it had around 600 episodes. I successfully did it. It's more or less 15 minutes per episode if you skip the OP, ED, and the flashbacks from previous episode.. lol
