It was some time ago last year I watched the season one of this sports anime. I was privileged to watch the movie that premiered earlier this year two weeks ago and it was amazing. The movie talked was about the background of Nagi and how he met Reo,his only friend.
Blue lock is an anime that revolves around the world of football,with its main character as Isagi and other amazing side characters. A brief summary about blue lock would be a program designed to create strikers and top footballers in Japan. It is run by Jinpachi Ego and his main aim is to create a striker like the likes of Ronaldo,Messi, Neymar,etc out of an ordinary football player. He says the driving force to this is ego. This drives players to prove themselves on the field but only a true striker;someone determined to make a difference,a quick adapter no matter the situation can do this. Ego believes to be a striker you have to get rid of all forms of team work and play to go for the goal yourself. That's where adapting come in, that's also where evolving comes in. You can't evolve without adapting first. Evolving means changing from one's previous state to a one of more glory if that makes any sense. And you can't try to prove yourself without having a large ego. Pride is very sensitive here as it has some resemblance to a large ego.
The first season of Blue lock premiered 2022, around the same time the world cup was going on and to say it was a known anime during that particular period was an understatement. It was everywhere in otaku corners,TikToks and Instagram. The beauty about Blue lock is its amazing side characters. I wasn't the least impressed with the tech and football tricks but I was impressed with Nagi's trick. Yes, I'm a fan girl.

With that, I'll be on about Episode Nagi. Episode Nagi is a Blue lock movie created to tell us the story about the history between Nagi and Reo. Nagi is weird, an introvert and gamer,he has no friends, didn't care about it and considered everything a hassel. Reo is a wealthy kid with everything at his disposal and had everything he wanted. He was bored of it. Bored of having everything at his disposal and being good at everything until he saw a video of some players playing football. That's when he got intrigued,excited and wanted to do that. Wanted to play football. Episode Nagi shows us how Reo and Nagi became friends,how they got theirselves in bluelock and it reflected a bit on the breakout between them. A heartbreaking scene,seeing Nagi depart from Reo. Their friendship was the best in the entire cast.I love them so much!
I'm going to take a step back from sport animes for a while. I want to watch a bl and throw my phone to one edge of my bed whenever one of the characters do something cringe and I recieve first hand embarrassment for him. Blue Lock is a good anime, although it was basic in a way but it was really good. I can't rate it cause I'll be biased,I love Nagi and Reo and yes,*I would def rate it higher because of the two of them and not because of the plot or anything.

Hace algún tiempo, el año pasado, vi la primera temporada de este anime deportivo. Tuve el privilegio de ver la película que se estrenó a principios de este año hace dos semanas y fue increíble. La película hablaba sobre los antecedentes de Nagi y cómo conoció a Reo, su único amigo.
Blue Lock es un anime que gira en torno al mundo del fútbol, con su personaje principal como Isagi y otros personajes secundarios increíbles. Un breve resumen de Blue Lock sería que es un programa diseñado para crear delanteros y futbolistas de primer nivel en Japón. Está dirigido por Jinpachi Ego y su principal objetivo es crear un delantero como Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, etc. a partir de un futbolista común. Dice que la fuerza impulsora de esto es el ego. Esto impulsa a los jugadores a demostrar su valía en el campo, pero solo un verdadero delantero, alguien decidido a marcar la diferencia, que se adapte rápidamente a cualquier situación, puede hacerlo. Ego cree que para ser un delantero hay que deshacerse de todas las formas de trabajo y juego en equipo para ir a por el gol. Ahí es donde entra en juego la adaptación, y también la evolución. No se puede evolucionar sin adaptarse primero. Evolucionar significa cambiar del estado anterior de uno a uno de mayor gloria si es que eso tiene algún sentido. Y no se puede intentar demostrar lo que se vale sin tener un gran ego. El orgullo es muy sensible aquí, ya que tiene cierta semejanza con un gran ego.
La primera temporada de Blue Lock se estrenó en 2022, casi al mismo tiempo que se celebraba la Copa del Mundo, y decir que era un anime conocido durante ese período en particular era quedarse corto. Estaba en todas partes, en los rincones otaku, TikTok e Instagram. La belleza de Blue Lock son sus increíbles personajes secundarios. No me impresionaron en lo más mínimo los trucos tecnológicos y de fútbol, pero sí me impresionó el truco de Nagi. Sí, soy una fan.

Dicho esto, hablaré del episodio Nagi. El episodio Nagi es una película de Blue Lock creada para contarnos la historia entre Nagi y Reo. Nagi es extraño, introvertido y jugador, no tiene amigos, no le importa y considera que todo es una molestia. Reo es un niño rico con todo a su disposición y tenía todo lo que quería. Estaba aburrido de eso. Aburrido de tener todo a su disposición y ser bueno en todo hasta que vio un video de algunos jugadores jugando al fútbol. Fue entonces cuando se sintió intrigado, emocionado y quiso hacer eso. Quería jugar al fútbol. El episodio Nagi nos muestra cómo Reo y Nagi se hicieron amigos, cómo se pusieron bluelock y reflejó un poco la ruptura entre ellos. Una escena desgarradora, ver a Nagi alejarse de Reo. Su amistad fue la mejor de todo el elenco. ¡Los amo tanto!
Voy a alejarme un poco de los animes de deportes por un tiempo. Quiero ver un BL y arrojar mi teléfono a un borde de mi cama cada vez que uno de los personajes hace algo que me da vergüenza y siento vergüenza de primera mano por él. Blue Lock es un buen anime, aunque era básico en cierto modo, pero fue realmente bueno. No puedo calificarlo porque sería parcial. Me encantan Nagi y Reo y sí, definitivamente le daría una calificación más alta por ellos dos y no por la trama ni nada.

This is one of the anime that has been recommended to me the most and that I have not yet deigned to see, I'm a soccer fan and in that sense these things call my attention, but for some reason there is something that does not convince me, maybe it's just a matter of giving it a chance.

I share much of your review. Blue Lock is a basic anime, but a good one. Though I find there are more interesting characters besides the ones you mention.
