Amazingly good family-friendly show about raising a small child. A show about healthy parent-child relationships is a rarity, maybe one in a 1,000+ shows that all portray dysfunctional relationships. There is not much of a story or even development but the beauty is in the details. A father cooks together with a small child and it is awesome. If you are parent (or have small siblings), you should do that too and this show could be an inspiration for valuable life experience. Cooking together could be so much fun and the show captures the best of it. That's how good parenting might look like. And if you watch the show, you might even pick up few recipes. An excellent mood of kindness, care, love and friendship, delivered perfectly.

I have watched spy x family where they also raised a kid, after that I have never watched any other anime related to kids. I think I'll give this one a try thanks.
Those two shows are nothing alike. While "Sweetness & Lightning" is about good and beautiful, "spy x family" is anti-family rubbish with fake and pretend "family" being based on lies and deceit, merely as cover-up, with characters continuously lying to each other and everybody around them.
In other words, one of those shows is truly beautiful while another may be nice in appearance but ugly underneath.
