Overrated failure to reproduce quality of prior work. Like a cheap imitation by those not appreciating the original material. Average graphics, significant part of which is done in weird simplified pink-ish colour palette, and a lot of the rest is dark (e.g. underground) where it is hard to see details.
The worst part is the story. Imagine characters' unique and strongest fighting techniques, learned and honed over many years of practice, being stolen from them (so the enemy can use their techniques but original users can't). So like amnesiacs they are nearly helpless without their iconic "bankai" styles...
A strongest fighter in a Soul Society, who hardly fought in battles before, even to save the world from destruction, is actually a woman who is so strong that she just can't find a worthy opponent to fight, so she stands uninvolved even when her comrades are being slaughtered by enemy.
Or a training where trainee kills instructor because that's the only way to get stronger...
It is really difficult to endure that much nonsense and there is a lot more of that, as well as tasteless low-angle short-skirts angles... Also, the story does not make sense on its own, without familiarity with characters from prior series, some of whom appear only briefly without playing any role in the story whatsoever.
Also there are too many side stories distracting from main events...
Perhaps one of the worst parts of the show was a moment (that is completely artificial to the story) when dying girl was saved by vaccine, because you know, in 2020s nothing can get produced unless it contains propaganda of vaccination... :(

Wow, from what you say this remake leaves a lot to be desired, with so many changes that add nothing to the story.
Too bad.
It is not a remake. It is a side story made from familiar Bleach characters. IMHO "leaves a lot to be desired" puts it too mildly... :)
Formerly Bleach makers delivered several entertaining side stories in a movie format, but these mini-series are a bitter disappointment.
