What if...
- Sherlock Holmes was actually a French school girl, rolling on the floor from boredom.
- Lestrade was her older brother.
- Moriarty was her abusive father.
- Dr. Watson (protagonist) was a teenage boy (international student from Japan).
The result is actually is not as terrible as one might expect, despite "Sherlock's" personality issues (she is hardly ever nice to anyone) and weakness of protagonist "Watson" character. Cases are often solvable with enough information leaked to viewers to make informed guesses regarding nature of crimes.
I did not like unwarranted and unnecessary scene when "Holmes" was forcibly injected when she merely got a cold/fever, but nowadays so many shows can not avoid propagandising vaccines... "What you need not is a shot", she's been told when injected. :(
