Drama-free repetitive show about a boy who interacts with Yōkai (supernatural beings).
Story begins with discovery of a notebook where many Yōkai were sealed, being bound to submission by protagonist's grandmother who was doing it just for fun, enjoying fighting those beings (most of whom are not even hostile). Protagonist meets many of those beings and releases them from grandmother's bounding spell.
He helps some and some help him. Having ability to see those beings, invisible to ordinary people, protagonist avoids humans and develops frail relationships with some Yōkai. That's pretty much it, and each episode is encounter of a new Yōkai (with occasional return of familiar ones). Few variations of their encounters differ mostly in personalities and appearance of Yōkai.
It is OK/average show that have nothing bad. However it is not an exciting show either, being so shallow story-wise...
