RE: Why do I like Chopper's story and flashbacks? / Dlaczego lubię historię i retrospekcje Choppera?

Chopper's backstory was one of my faves in Straw Hat's. That arc was really emotional and it did make me cry...Also, it made me admire Luffy because before I thought that he was purely a comical captain, but the way he showed compassion and willingness to go beyond just to save Nami and as well uplift Chopper (who wasn't even part of his crew yet) was something that hooked me more to OP's plot (but unfortunately I'm still stuck with Wano, so hopefully I can move forward soon).

Yes, I definitely miss this Luffy. Too often he's a fool who only wants to eat or pursue his own selfish goals. Too rarely does he act like a mature man. :X

And then there's the many emotions you're talking about. Every time I think about this arc, I hear sad songs from the OP soundtrack and see scenes with Chopper.

Yesss... Chopper's indeed unforgettable in this arc, and definitely it's a rollercoaster of emotions that I felt while watching it. Luffy's still funny, but his pre-time skip goofiness still hits differently.
