Let's start hard this top, and in several senses, talking about a drama, romance and crime anime that I do not recommend to anyone.
I find it funny that this is the only romance anime that I've watched among the list. I haven't finished it tho, but by the way you talk about it, it seems like it's not really a good romance for you. Well yes, it's definitely not the ideal romance—with all the yakuza and cheating thingy, but it'll eventually get better (I dunno if Kirishima improved at the end of the anime adaptation, but in the manga.. yep, he somehow did). I'm currently following the manga because their romance is progressing pretty nicely, and I hope it'll stay that way, especially since there's danger that's brewing in their yakuza world...Anyways, Nina the Starry Bride is the only one that is on my to-watch list. I already heard about Blue Box, but I got turned off because, at first glance, I immediately rooted for Hina, and when I discovered she's prolly not the one that the MC will end up with, I dropped it. I already experienced siding with a second lead before, and I ended up being as sad as the character, so yep—passed for it now.
By and by, nice review you got there. Not really fond of romance, but I might as well check out later those anime you rated well. Btw, thanks for sharing!

Oh, I understand. Well, as a general rule and for a romance fan, the first anime I talk about is not the right one because of the mix of drama and crime with yakuzas that it has, as I said, It's not that it's a bad romance per se, it's just very different from the popular Japanese romance cliché. Nina's is really impressive because it has a plot and a development that is unexpected with plot twists that make you stay to watch it until the end. Blue Box is a super calm and self-reflective anime with excellent animation and great characters, but a slow build-up.
Thank you very much for the support.
Yep, it's totally far from the usual ideal Japanese romance, but it's not bad either. As for other anime, I'll check it out if it'll pique my interest.
Anyway, you're welcome.
