This anime begins by telling the story of the Demon Lord called Vetol Velvet Velsvalt, who reigned over the Immortals and other races a long time ago. After finding out more about his current situation, Demon Lord Vetol Velvet Velsvalt begins to find out what happened to the rest of his subordinates until he discovers the location of one of them and decides to visit him in one of the largest buildings in the city. Arriving there, Vetol realizes that his subordinate Markus has betrayed him and since he did not have the same level of power, he ends up suffering a lot of damage and escapes. This fight scene has a very interesting insight, because it is a confrontation between the highest technology that was developed by Markus and Vetol's "slower" magic, because the Familia that Markus had eliminated 3 steps when executing the magic, while Vetol's took a long time to be activated. It's like a clash between generations, showing that in this case people have to try to adapt to continue living in modern society.
Another scene that goes in the same direction is when the Demon Lord decides to look for a job so that he doesn't depend solely on Machina's income. When he arrived at the Guild that had job openings, he gave his entire resume as a Demon Lord, strategist, etc. However, in today's world, none of this was necessary and he couldn't even get the simplest job opening. We can take another valuable insight from this: you should always seek to qualify yourself, because even if you are an expert in an area, it may end up becoming obsolete and the market no longer needs your services. Therefore, it is important to be aware of the future of the area you are in and also observe which new areas and technologies are emerging so that you are prepared. One example is Web3, which is not yet very well known, but has great potential.
In the anime, we see the transformation and adaptation of the Demon Lord to modern times in history, with him later becoming a Streamer and communicating with the streamers by playing some older games for the time, since he did not have access to the family since it had been developed by Markus. This is an example of the type of adaptation we must have in the face of changes in technology and scenario.

Esse anime começa contando a história do Demon Lord chamado Vetol Velvet Velsvalt, que reinava sobre os Immortals e outras raças à muito tempo atrás. Esse Demon Lord acabou enfrentando o Heroi da época, Gram, e perdeu entrando em um estado de “stand-by”. Essa parte do passo do Veltol não é muito bem abordada já que foi bem rápida a sua morte desde que ele já apareceu no anime, já que ele desaparece e renasce já em 2099 na cidade de Shinjuku graças à uma de suas antigas subordinadas Machina.
Assim que o Demon Lord reaparece a Machina conta o que aconteceu durante o período em que ele ficou ausente. O mundo de fantasia em que viviam chamado Alneath, o mesmo em que o Demon Lord reinava a acabou passando por uma fusão com a Terra, o que trouxe um choque muito grande entre as duas realidades, que resultou em descriminação e guerras, mas isso já era passado porque agora as raças estavam em paz.

Depois de descobrir mais sobre a sua situação atual, o Demon Lord Vetol Velvet Velsvalt começa a procurar saber o que houve com o restante dos seus subordinados até que ele descobre o local de um deles e resolve ir visitá-lo em um dos maiores prédios da cidade. Chegando lá, Vetol percebe que seu subordinado Markus, o traiu e como não tinha o mesmo nível de poder acaba sofrendo muito dano e escapa. Essa cena de luta tem um insight bem interessante, porque é um confronto entre a mais alta tecnologia que foi desenvolvida por Markus e a magia mais “lenta” de Vetol, porque a Familia que Markus tinha eliminava 3 passos na hora de executar a magia, enquanto a de Vetol demorava para ser acionada. É como se fosse um embate entre gerações, mostrando que nesse caso as pessoas tem que busca se adaptar para continuar vivendo na sociedade moderna.
Uma outra cena que vai nessa mesma direção é a que o Demon Lord, resolve procurar um emprego para que ele não fique dependendo apenas da renda da Machina. Ao chegar na Guild que tinha as vagas de emprego ele relata todo o seu currículo como Demon Lord, estrategista e etc, entretanto no mundo atual nada disso era necessário e ele não consegue nem a mais simples das vagas. Podemos tirar um outro insight valioso disso que é você sempre buscar se qualificar, porque mesmo você sendo especialista em uma área, pode ser que ela acabe se tornando obsoleta e o mercado não precise mais dos seus serviços. Por isso, é importante ficar atento sobre qual o futuro daquela área que você está e também observar quais novas áreas e tecnologias estão surgindo para você ficar preparado. Um exemplo é a Web3, que ainda não é muito conhecida, mas tem um grande potencial.
No anime, vemos a transformação e a adaptação do Demon Lord aos tempos modernos da história com ele virando posteriormente um Streamer e se comunicando com a galera da stream jogando alguns jogos mais antigos para a época, já que ele não tinha acesso à familia já que tinha sido desenvolvida pelo Markus. Esse é um exemplo do tipo de adaptação que devemos ter frente as mudanças de tecnologia e cenário.

this anime caught my attention back in the day, but being an isekai made me discard it, because I'm tired of the genre that does not advance, it stays in what works... now that I read, demon king plus isekai, 2 themes that are fully exploited in the anime xD
