Satoru Mikami was the pinnacle of an ordinary guy in the world we all knew. His life was ordinary, and nothing more was ever happening than normal. Unfortunately, that isn't always sufficient to keep you secure. Satoru is killed as a result of a senseless act of aggression. He can't suppress the sensation of knowing a vague audio in his head as his cognition starts to fade. Satoru then departs from our planet for good.

A light-hearted Isekai humor that plays with RPG and fantasy tale genres while holding its fingers stuck in its mouth. It 's the sort of series in which the leading protagonist's primary issue when he dies is ensuring that his friend destroys his hard drive before any of his family sees it. This would be That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Dragons behave like tsunderes, and elves run hostess bars in this form of show. But it's also a great deal more. This isn't the first time I've confirmed that a show has heart, and it won't be the last. However, in a sub-genre filled with cynical, repetitive, low-quality cash ins; equally cynical but often hilarious parodies; and depressing dark subversions, this is a standout.
This anime has a calming aura of sincerity and hope about it, and it's been one of my best - loved animes to watch this season. I can't blame you if you dismissed it as just another generic Isekai sequence, or even if you gave it a shot and considered its laid-back pace to be a little tedious. It's not the kind of anime that casual otaku or arty-farty rakugo fans like myself would consider a must-see.
I'd like to explain why if you could spare a few moments of your time. This will necessitate a few spoilers, so if you'd rather just take my word for it and come back after watching the show for the rest of my thoughts, this is your warning. I'll give an extra warning for one particularly spoilery section, but if you still need convincing, stick around and let me show you just how much of its power levels slime incarnation is hiding.

I'm killing it today with these English short names. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime follows a middle-aged Japanese man, a 40-year-old virgin, who dies in a random knife attack and is reincarnated as a cute light blue blob of sentient flesh-eating goo with the ability to mimic the appearance and abilities of any other creature it eats.
The slime, armed with more intelligence than the average slime, or any intelligence at all, begins to absorb magical rocks and plants, gaining immense power as a result. He eventually meets Veldora Tempest, an ancient and powerful storm dragon who was sealed away there long ago, trapped in a magical bubble from which he can't escape, in the cave where he wakes up. After that, they become friends because, well, what else are they going to do?

Veldora names the slime Rimuru Tempest, adopting him as a member of his family and, though Rimuru is unaware of it, bestowing upon him immense magical power as a named monster. He later passes on this power to a village of goblins, becoming their protector in the same way Veldora is. There's also a pack of excellent dogs.
Rimuru absorbs Veldora, barrier and all, because there is no immediate way to release him. Before setting out to explore the rest of the world, he promised to one day find a way to break his friend's seal. Rimuru has unwittingly tipped the balance of power in this world by making the dragon vanish, creating a vacuum that many other monsters and humans will soon try to fill.
But, you know, he'll take care of everything when he gets around to it. Rimuru isn't your average Isekai hero by any stretch of the imagination. He's absurdly OP by the time he emerges from the cave, but he defies convention in other ways. He's a bit of a slug and very laid-back. He isn't averse to assisting others, but he also isn't the typical shonen brick head who jumps at every opportunity.

When someone comes to him in need, he weighs the costs and benefits and, more often than not, decides to help because... well, it's not hurting him, so why not? That's how he ends up defending a village of adorable goblins from a pack of vicious direwolves, and then becoming the pack's leader after deciding to spare them. Oh, and did I mention they're good boys? They are, after all.
Rimuru is neither a moral hero, a tortured antihero, nor a pitiful hikikomori who needs to learn a hard lesson about the real world (despite his wizard status before dying). He's just a regular nice guy who helps people when he can and, as a result, gradually takes on more responsibilities. He has ideals, is a pacifist, and clearly enjoys making people happy, and his ultimate goal, according to what I understand, is world peace. However, he develops his ambition gradually and naturally.
And as a result, the show moves at a very pleasant and relaxing pace. Rimuru hopping around in a cave, getting used to his new body, is the focus of the first episode, and while it's not the most action-packed 20 minutes of anime you'll ever see, there's something really charming about it. Iyashikei or healing anime like Sweetness and Lightning come to mind. That isn't to say the series isn't enjoyable; far from it.

There are a few strong action scenes to enjoy once Rimuru makes his way out of the cave. And the show's main draw is undoubtedly its sense of humour. When it wants to be, it can be hysterically funny, but in a very different way than KonoSuba's mostly mean-spirited jabs. It's more likely to laugh at awkwardness and wordplay than at people being stupid, assholes, or... stupid assholes.
It's nice to have a modern fantasy comedy that's less raunchy and more lighthearted to go with it. It does, however, share with KonoSuba a strong visual comedy that is greatly enhanced by its vibrant cartoony art style and character designs. Slime Incarnation's soft colors and expressive unique designs, particularly its pre-evolved goblins, remind me a lot of Wind Waker and, to a lesser extent, Okami, as I've said before. To be honest, I'm impressed with the overall design and production quality of this series. It's a very attractive show. These are the things that drew me to slime incarnation in the first place, and I've been thoroughly enjoying it since it first aired.
I think I'm just going to have to accept I'm the only guy who thinks this show is boring.
It's here I really started realizing the Isekai genre on a whole just doesn't work for me.
It's okay bro, we all have our different taste when it comes to anime, actually I thought Tensura is boring but my brother forced me to watch it so that's why I came to realization to love this anime
Loko ka julstamban gumawa ka naman ng alt, haha.
