One Piece Clockwork Island

It's less than a month away till One Piece resumes and still on the vibes from last time, I'm on the quest of catching up with the movies as well as the anime series.
Last movie was Woonan's Treasure and the wave of nostalgia was just something, let's dive into this one.

One Piece: Clockwork Island Adventure

Plot

Luffy and crew lose the Going Merry and Nami to the Trump Pirates. In order to get them back, they team up with the thief brothers and head to the Clockwork Island, an island that holds the most expensive clock.

In One Piece, there are three main things that make the story so irresistible. The World Building, the Storyline and the comedy.
If we were to use those same characteristics to judge this movie. It would probably be 97% comedy and the remaining is shared between the two.

I mean what the hell did I just watch, why was I laughing out loud the full 55 minutes. All gags were on point, every comedic scene showcased Luffy perfectly in his full silliness, from the first to the last.

This movie clearly was one made with the intent to make the viewers laugh, a lighthearted plot with the most inspiring bit being Zoro taking the darts for Luffy.

The fight scenes were dope here too though. With there even being a noticeable show of blood, which isn't rare but somehow stood out throughout the fighting. It did somehow accentuate the fighting style and how dire the situation was at some times though.

The antagonist and his crew even was made extra silly, and at 55 minutes you wouldn't even know when you've laughed the full movie away😂😂✨

Honestly, with the way this and last week was, I needed this little dose of humor and laughter in my system.
I rate this film a 9/10. If you're up for a good dose of one piece silliness, here's your best bet✨
