ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello to all the members of this community and anime lovers! I am an amateur cosmaker and after a long time of not doing cosplay, I decided to make one from scratch to attend an anime event that was going to take place in the city of Barquisimeto (Venezuela), last September 21 and 22.
I am currently living in the capital of the country, but a year ago, I lived in that state and I used to go to almost all the anime events that were presented, in fact I went last year. Since my birthday happened days before the event, my boyfriend promised that he would take me to MATSUCON, so I was doubly excited 🤗
The cosplay I wore was of the character Pomni from the show The Amazing Digital Circus. It took me almost a month to make it because there were days when I didn't dedicate myself to it, as well as I used the fabric that I got from some cosplays that I recycled, so I didn't have to invest more than my labor. I really liked the result and the procedure, I uploaded it on my blog, of course 😌

The event took place at Ciudad Crepuscular mall, which has become a meeting place for otakus and other people from the geek world. But my motivation for going to the event was also to meet up with my friends, so it was a nice surprise to meet up with a friend and see how much her son has grown, who was delighted with my cosplay (he's a fan of the show) and was by my side the whole time, being so sweet.

I also met a friend who is known in the city for being one of the most veteran otakus. He always wears cosplays to events and meetings and this time, he surprised me quite a bit with his costume. I recognized him because of his voice haha.
To my surprise, I ran into a lot more acquaintances, but in the heat of the moment, we didn't take any pictures haha. Towards the end, we took pictures of the cosplayers, as a sign of respect and admiration for their dedication in making the cosplays. I missed a lot of them because we couldn't stay long at the event (we were kind of exhausted). But at least I'm glad I was able to take pictures of the cosplays of the characters from Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel, which are shows that I'm currently watching.

It was a super nice day and I hope to have the opportunity to attend any event that takes place during one of my visits to that city. They are not as extravagant as the events in the capital, but it is nice to meet people I know and share with the cosplayers. Without a doubt, after this event, I have been encouraged to continue working hard on my cosmaker hobby, it really makes me very happy to make and use cosplays 😊

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad y amantes del anime! Soy cosmaker amateur y luego de una larga temporada de no hacer cosplay, me decidí a realizar uno desde cero para asistir a un evento anime que se realizaría en la ciudad de Barquisimeto (Venezuela), el pasado 21 y 22 de Septiembre.
Actualmente me encuentro viviendo en la capital del país, pero hace un año, vivía en ese estado y solía ir a casi todos los eventos anime que se presentaran, de hecho fui el año pasado. Como mi cumpleaños ocurrió días antes del evento, mi novio prometió que me llevaría a la MATSUCON, así que, estaba doblemente emocionada 🤗
El cosplay que llevé fue del personaje Pomni del show The Amazing Digital Circus. Me tomó casi un mes realizarlo porque hubieron días en los que no me dediqué a ello, así como utilicé la tela que obtuve de unos cosplays que reciclé, así que no tuve que invertir más que mi mano de obra. Me gustó mucho el resultado y el procedimiento, lo subí en mi blog, por supuesto 😌

El evento tuvo lugar en el centro comercial Ciudad Crepuscular, el cual se ha vuelto un sitio de encuentro entre los otakus y demás personas del mundo geek. Pero mi motivación para ir al evento también fue la de reencontrarme con mis amigos, por eso, fue una grata sorpresa hallarme con una amiga y ver cuánto ha crecido su hijo, quién quedó encantado con mi cosplay (es fan del programa) y estuvo todo el tiempo a mi lado, siendo toda una ternura.

También me encontré con un amigo que es conocido en la ciudad por ser uno de los otakus más veteranos. Él siempre lleva cosplays a los eventos y reuniones y ésta vez, me sorprendió bastante con su traje. Lo reconocí fue por su voz jaja.
Para mi sorpresa, me hallé con muchos más conocidos, pero llevada por el calor del momento, no nos tomamos fotos jaja Casi al final nos dedicamos a fotografiar a los cosplayers, en señal de respeto y admiración por su dedicación en la elaboración de los cosplays. Me faltaron muchos por fotografiar porque no podíamos quedarnos mucho tiempo en el evento (estábamos algo exhaustos). Pero al menos me alegro de haber podido tomar fotografías de los cosplays de los personajes de Helluva Boss y de Hazbin Hotel, los cuales son shows que actualmente, estoy viendo.

Fue un día súper agradable y espero tener la oportunidad de asistir a cualquier evento que se realice durante alguna de mis visitas a aquella ciudad. No son tan estrafalarios como los eventos de la capital, pero es grato hallarse con gente conocida y compartir con los cosplayers. Sin duda, luego de éste evento, me he animado a seguirme esforzando en mi hobbie de cosmaker, realmente me hace muy feliz elaborar y usar cosplays 😊

I can imagine! There was one held at the city I live in last month. I remember seeing videos of it on my friend's stories and how they went and had so much fun. Saw many cosplays,games, the concert they held. It looked incredible! I was crying myself to sleep cause I didn't attend!😭😂
There's also one coming up soon but it's at a different state and I love my room more than anything, leaving it to school takes a lot from me. I can't imagine leaving to another state 😭 so I'll wait till next year.

That's right! And more so because the event had been postponed and the new date was in my favor because I had planned to visit that city. They say that there is a perfect time for everything 😊

You definitely have to go to an event! You can still do it. Don't give up on it! You can just go as a spectator the first time and the next time, try to make your own cosplay. That's what I did and now I can't stop trying to make costumes for my favorite characters! It's a good way to hang out and meet people who have the same tastes as you 😊

Ay amiga, que bueno que te gustase cómo me quedó y como se me ve puesto 😊 Yo no tenía esperanza, pero a medida que lo iba fabricando y me lo medio probaba, me fui animando a seguir y ya al final, quedé súper satisfecha con el resultado final.
