¡Hola a todos! ésta es la primera vez que hago un escrito sobre mi opinión sobre algún anime que haya visto, por lo general lo hago cuando hablo con alguien y me desahogo, pero con esto de la pandemia, he perdido conexión con amistades, así que he tenido que guardarme mis opiniones para mí misma. Pero como he visto muchas publicaciones de éste tipo en ésta comunidad, lo vi como un buena oportunidad para sacarme todo lo que tengo dentro y, si es el caso, ayudar a alguien a animarse a ver algún anime o intercambiar opiniones. Sin más que añadir, comencemos:
Hello everyone! this is the first time I've written about my opinion on any anime I've seen, I usually do it when I talk to someone and I'm off-top, but with this pandemic, I've lost connection with friends, so I've had to keep my opinions to myself. But since I've seen a lot of posts of this kind in this community, I saw it as a good opportunity to get everything I have inside and, if that's the case, help someone to be encouraged to watch some anime or exchange opinions. With no more to add, let's start:
La verdad nunca había tenido la oportunidad de checar éste anime, pero hace unos días atrás lo pude ver al fin gracias a un servicio de streeming. No tenía idea de que trataba el anime, ya que jamás me había interesado buscar sobre él, así que cuando me di cuenta de que trataba sobre vampiros, mi animo permaneció neutral, ya que ese genero no es de mis favoritos. Aún así decidí darle una oportunidad. Admito que el diseño de personajes me parece muy lindo, desde el primer momento me agradó a la vista, sobre todo el diseño de los ojos.
The truth is that I had never had the opportunity to check this anime, but a few days ago I finally saw it thanks to a streaming service. I had no idea what the anime was about, since I had never been interested in searching about it, so when I realized that it was about vampires, my mood remained neutral, since that genre is not one of my favorites. Still I decided to give it a try. I admit that the character design seems very cute to me, from the first moment I liked the eye, especially the design of the eyes.
Tenemos a la protagonista, Yui Komori, una estudiante de 17 años que llega a una mansión muy tétrica sin ninguna clase de información del porqué rayos está ahí, cosa que te da a entender que de eso va a tratar el anime en sí. La personalidad de Yui es la de la chica estereotipada que es demasiado ingenua, exageradamente amable y frágil, cosa que no me molestó al principio, ya que estoy acostumbrada a ver personajes así que tienen un excelente desarrollo y acaban siendo de los más geniales.
We have the main character, Yui Komori, a 17-year-old student who arrives at a very gloomy mansion without any kind of information about why the hell she is there, which makes you understand that this is what the anime itself is going to be about. Yui's personality is that of the stereotypical girl who is too naive, overly kind and fragile, which did not bother me at first, since I am used to seeing characters so they have excellent development and end up being the coolest.
En la mansión residen seis chicos con los que Yui acaba encontrándose en diferentes circunstancias de una manera que te saca de onda, al principio pensaba que se trataba del típico harem invertido, en donde la chica linda tiene a un grupo de hombre detrás de sí, pero a medida que pasa la serie, te das cuenta de que los chicos vampiros no sienten ningún aprecio por Yui (y si lo tienen lo trasmiten muy mal), por muy estilizado y hermoso que sea el diseño, acabas sintiendo que cada hermano es más molesto y grosero que el anterior, ninguno se salva, todos ven a la pobre chica como una bolsa de sangre a la que pueden recurrir, cual refresco del refrigerador.
In the mansion reside six boys with whom Yui ends up meeting in different circumstances in a way that takes you out of the loop, at first I thought it was the typical inverted harem, where the beautiful girl has a group of men behind her, But as the series goes on, you realize that vampire boys have no appreciation for Yui (and if they do, they convey it very badly), no matter how stylized and beautiful the design is, you end up feeling that each brother is more annoying and rude than the previous one, no one is saved, they all see the poor girl as a bag of blood they can turn to, like soda from the refrigerator.
El primer encuentro es con Ayato Sakamaki, un chico que es en extremo dominante y que desde el primer momento, se cree el dueño de Yui. Cuando lo conoce lo encuentra dormido en un sofá, se le ocurre sentirle el pulso (cosa que todo el mundo haría) y al no sentirlo, piensa que el chico está muerta (algo que no es verdad, solo que nuestra protagonista no sabe que es un vampiro), por lo que intenta llamar a una ambulancia, algo que acaba muy mal porque Ayato se le monta encima y acaban dañándole el celular. Esto nos da la primera lección de vida viviendo con chicos vampiros que acabas de conocer: "Por ningún motivo los despiertes". Como sea en toda la temporada Ayati se comporta como un niño malcriado que hace berrinches a la hora de no obtener lo que quiere, como la vez en la que lanza a la pobre chica al agua sin importarle que esta no sepa nadar y por casi dejar que se ahogue.
The first meeting is with Ayato Sakamaki, a boy who is extremely dominant and who from the first moment, believes himself the owner of Yui. When she meets him, she finds him asleep on a sofa, it occurs to her to feel his pulse (which everyone would do) and when she does not feel it, she thinks that the boy is dead (something that is not true, only that our protagonist does not know what it is a vampire), so he tries to call an ambulance, something that ends very badly because Ayato gets on top of him and they end up damaging his cell phone. Anyway, throughout the season Ayati behaves like a spoiled child who throws tantrums when not getting what he wants, like the time when he throws the poor girl into the water without caring that she does not know how to swim and for almost leaving let him drown.
Luego tenemos a Reiji Sakamaki, a primera vista pensamos que es el chico que aparte de guapo es sensato, por lo que actuará diferente a los demás (porque si ves a un chico con gafas, ya sabes, es el listillo), pero no, es otro vampiro odioso que ve a Yui como una posible objeto de experimentación, como la vez que invita a la chica a beber un té y claro, como Yui es muy ingenua, se lo bebe y resulta que le colocó algo en la bebida. Muy mal Reiji. Esto nos da la segunda lección de vida viviendo con chicos vampiros que acabas de conocer: No les aceptes bebidas.
Then we have Reiji Sakamaki, at first glance we think that he is the boy who apart from handsome is sensible, so he will act differently from the others (because if you see a boy with glasses, you know, he is the smartass), but no, is another hateful vampire who sees Yui as a possible object of experimentation, like the time he invites the girl to drink a tea and of course, since Yui is very naive, she drinks it and it turns out that she put something in the drink. Too bad Reiji. This gives us the second life lesson living with vampire boys you just met: Don't accept drinks from them.
Sinceramente todos los chicos me caen mal, pero si tengo que escoger al que me cae peor, ese sería Laito Sakamaki. Desde el primer momento y cada vez que se la encuentra llama a Yui de una manera despectiva o grosera, cosa que llega un punto que llegas a hartarte de verlo aparecer. Es sádico y masoquista, además de pervertido y como Yui es en extremo inocente, Laito sólo existe para meterse con ella e insultarla.
Honestly, I don't like all boys, but if I have to choose the one I like the worst, that would be Laito Sakamaki. From the first moment and every time she meets her, he calls Yui in a derogatory or rude way, which reaches a point that you get fed up with seeing him appear. He is sadistic and masochistic as well as perverted and since Yui is extremely innocent, Laito only exists to mess with and insult her.
A primera vista Kanato Sakamaki parece el típico chico tierno y adorable que no rompe ni un plato, que seguramente acabaría siendo amigo de la protagonista. Pero como ya sabemos, así no funciona la lógica vampírica en éste anime, se trata de otro chico molesto que trata a Yui a las patadas, sólo que lo hace con un oso de peluche en las manos. Es igual de malcriado que Ayato, al punto de hacer los mismo berrinches que su hermano y comportarse inesperadamente como un desquiciado, como la vez que invitó a Yui a visitar la tumba de su madre y cuando ésta quiso retirarse por lo incómodo de la situación, Kanato armó un berrinche. Lo que nos lleva a otra lección de vida viviendo con chicos vampiros que acabas de conocer: "No vayas a cementerios con ellos sin saber antes las causas de muerte del difunto"
At first glance Kanato Sakamaki seems like the typical cute and adorable boy who does not break a plate, who would surely end up being friends with the protagonist. But as we already know, this is not how vampiric logic works in this anime, it is about another annoying boy who treats Yui with kicks, only he does it with a teddy bear in his hands. He is just as spoiled as Ayato, to the point of throwing the same tantrums as his brother and behaving unexpectedly like a madman, like the time he invited Yui to visit his mother's grave and when she wanted to leave because of the uncomfortable situation, Kanato threw a tantrum. Which leads us to another life lesson living with vampire boys you just met: "Don't go to cemeteries with them without first knowing the deceased's causes of death"
Shū Sakamaki sólo se la pasa durmiendo y escuchando música, no hay nada más que agregar. No trata a Yui diferente, así que es otro hermano bonito y abusivo más, únicamente que le da flojera y actua cuando le da la gana.
Shū Sakamaki just keeps sleeping and listening to music, there is nothing more to add. He doesn't treat Yui differently, so he's just another cute and abusive brother, only lazy and acting when she feels like it.
Finalmente tenemos a Subaru Sakamaki, para mí es el fantasma de la temporada, prácticamente no aparece casi nunca y cuando lo hace , ya saben, para molestar a la que pareciera que tiene un papel que dice "patéame" en la espalda, porque es agresivo, de paso.
Finally we have Subaru Sakamaki, for me he is the ghost of the season, he practically never appears and when he does, you know, to annoy the one who seems to have a paper that says "kick me" on the back, because he is aggressive, on the way.
Cuando varias de mis amistades se enteraron que estaba viendo el anime, una me dijo "hazte el favor y deja de ver eso", no le hice caso, porque no soy las de abandonar una serie a la primera, ni opinar sin terminar de ver por lo menos una temporada. Y es que tenía la esperanza de que la cosa se fuera acomodando a medida que fueran avanzando los episodios, pero no fue así. Prácticamente ves a los hermanos siendo abusivos y groseros con Yui todo el tiempo y esta, no hace nada, absolutamente NADA para defenderse. Ni siquiera cuando obtuvo una daga que podía matar a los vampiros (que alguno de ellos le dio, no recuerdo cual), tampoco era de esperarse que buscara de apuñalarlos, considerando su personalidad, pero por lo menos amenazarlos para evitar el bulling, pero no, sólo fue un accesorio de bolsillo, como el item súper efectivo que obtenemos en un videojuego y que no acabamos usando por pendejos.

And it is that I had the hope that the thing was accommodating as the episodes progressed, but it was not like that. You practically see siblings being abusive and rude to Yui all the time and she is, she does nothing, absolutely NOTHING to defend herself. Not even when he obtained a dagger that could kill vampires (which some of them gave him, I don't remember which one), it was not to be expected that he would seek to stab them, considering his personality, but at least threaten them to avoid bulling, but not , It was just a pocket accessory, like the super effective item that we get in a video game and that we don't end up using for assholes.
Pero la gota que rebasó el vaso fue la ocasión en que Yui tuvo la oportunidad de irse de la mansión, pero no se escapó porque prefería quedarse para averiguar el misterio del porqué había acabado allí... cosa que no tiene sentido cuando todos te tratan mal, te andan absorbiendo la sangre cuando tienen la oportunidad y de paso, te han amenazado de muerte.
But the last straw was the occasion when Yui had the opportunity to leave the mansion, but she did not run away because she preferred to stay to find out the mystery of why she had ended up there ... which does not make sense when everyone treats you wrong, they are absorbing your blood when they have the opportunity and incidentally, they have threatened to kill you.
Dado que la serie tiene varias temporadas y está basada en novelas visuales, me imagino que existen personas que todo esto les parece atractivo, pero para mí, ver éste anime fue una completa incomodidad, sumándole que lo vi en español latino, donde las voces eran sumamente molestas y te hacían odiar a los chicos mucho más (cosa que en extraño porque por lo general los doblajes latinos no suelen ser tan malos). Lo recomiendo si te gusta oír audios sugerentes con audífonos, porque cada vez que a la pobre de Yui le chupan la sangre... parecerá que te encuentras viendo otra clase de animes (si eres menor, que no te escuchen tus padres viéndolo o pensaran mal).
Since the series has several seasons and is based on visual novels, I imagine that there are people who find all this attractive, but for me, watching this anime was a complete discomfort, adding that I saw it in Latin Spanish, where the voices were extremely annoying and made you hate boys much more (which is strange because generally Latin dubbing is not that bad). I recommend it if you like to listen to suggestive audios with headphones, because every time poor Yui gets her blood sucked ... it will seem that you find yourself watching another kind of anime (if you are a minor, don't let your parents hear you watching it or they will think evil).
En conclusión, lo único que me pareció agradable fue el diseño de personajes y el opening, que es muy bonito, pero el hecho de ver a una chica siendo tratada mal por un grupo de chicos, sin ver ningún cambio a lo largo de trece episodios (que se sienten muy lentos), no es muy agradable que se diga. No sé si la actitud de Yui cambia con el tiempo, pero por lo menos hubieran dado indicios de que así iba a ser en la primera temporada, para saber que tanta incomodidad es necesaria. No suelo ser delicada con estos temas porque sé que los autores nos sorprenden con la trama y evolución de sus personajes, pero en Diabolik Lovers, no vi que eso vaya a pasar en un futuro con Yui y muy al contrario de personas que la detestan por su falta de carácter, yo simplemente la veo como la pobre victima que acabo metida en la boca del lobo y que va a sufrir las horribles consecuencias. Por mi lado, como no están disponibles las otras temporadas en la plataforma en donde vi la primera, no tengo pensado buscar las otras. Tengo más series que ver y si, mi amiga tenía razón: perdí horas de mi vida no inmortal viendo éste anime.
In conclusion, the only thing that seemed pleasant to me was the character design and the opening, which is very nice, but the fact of seeing a girl being treated badly by a group of boys, without seeing any change throughout thirteen episodes (that they feel very slow), it is not very pleasant to say. I don't know if Yui's attitude changes over time, but at least they would have hinted that this was going to be the case in the first season, to know how much discomfort is necessary. I am not usually delicate with these issues because I know that the authors surprise us with the plot and evolution of their characters, but in Diabolik Lovers, I did not see that this will happen in the future with Yui and very contrary to people who detest her for her lack of character, I simply see her as the poor victim who ended up in the mouth of the wolf and who is going to suffer the horrible consequences. For my part, as the other seasons are not available on the platform where I saw the first one, I don't plan to search for the others. I have more series to watch and yes, my friend was right: I lost hours of my non-immortal life watching this anime.

Hola, yo también ví el anime, sin embargo creo que lo ví desde un punto de vista diferente, desde mi punto de vista la protagonista desarrolla un tipo de síndrome de estocolmo hacia los chicos, ella de cierta forma tiene gestos románticos, piensa en ellos de esa forma, la verdad para muchos fue bastante ''cliché'' pero a mí me pareció bastante genial la forma en que presentan a la protagonista y el nivel de autosabotaje que puede llegar a tener (y que gracias a éste van desenvolviendo la historia de los demás personajes)
Pd: mi primer anime de vampiros fue vampire knight,te lo recomiendo, es algo similar a éste.

No creo que sea síndrome de Estocolmo porque los acababa de conocer y se dejó manipular desde el principio 😅 en ese síndrome la empatía nace con el tiempo viviendo con el o los intimidadores. Hay un anime llamado "Ai no kusabi", donde el protagonista llega a experimentar el síndrome de Estocolmo, luego de años de estar siendo sometido a maltratos, pero al inicio, sólo sentía odio hacia su abusador. Para mí, en éste caso, ya es cuestión de la personalidad sumisa de Yui, que como mencionas, ella misma se autosabotea y se deja manipular, porque su modo de ser así lo permite. A mi no me agrada mucho los personajes así porque me da dolor verlo sufrir, así que no termino disfrutando las series ja ja 🤭 Gracias por la recomendación, de hecho tengo vampire knight lista para verse desde hace muchos años, pero nunca había tomado la determinación de hacerlo ja ja pero ya estoy animada de verla. "La protagonista" me desespere más de una vez con su actitud, literalmente la podían sumbar de un acantilado y ella no haría nada, que pesado era su personaje... De nada bella para esa estamos y me encantaría conseguirme con tus próximas reseñas, me gusta como escribes 😘 y bueno sobre la protagonista... Yo si la crítico porque en la segunda temporada (si, hay segunda temporada por si no lo sabías) ella actúa de la misma forma y la única diferencia es que se agregan otros personajes para hacerle la vida cuadritos, osea va de mal en peor, pero aún así me la vi y tú dirás qué soy masoquista pero me ví la secuela con la esperanza de que su personaje evolucionara y ofreciera un papel más coherente pero no fue así. Así que doble decepción jajjaaja, ahora sí sacan una 3ra temporada ten por seguro que no la voy a ver, ya sería alargar el sufrimiento xD.
