When it comes to anime or manga, I prioritize the storyline above everything else. While beautiful art and animation are lovely bonuses, the animated film I’m about to share made me appreciate its art on a whole new level.
The animated film I'm talking about is called REDLINE.

REDLINE is an exhilarating race that takes place every five years. It is the most sought-after competition in the universe, with participants from various planets. To qualify for the race, you must possess exceptional skills and be ready to push yourself to your limits.

The race has no rules. You can modify your vehicle however you want, and you can attack other players in any way, making it even more dangerous than it already is.

This year's REDLINE will take place on Roboworld, a planet notorious for its danger. The military presence is quick to use force, and crime is rampant throughout the area.

Although the venue and its inhabitants heighten the risks associated with the race, the participants remain unbothered. They see this situation as an additional thrill.

The main character, JP, is among the participants. He's more than ready to take on the challenge and win the biggest race of his life!

To be honest, the storyline wasn't particularly strong, but the visuals—both the art and animation—are extraordinary! While there isn't much to expect from racing movies, the unique art style and stunning animation truly captivate you. It's so enjoyable to watch that it feels like a feast for the eyes!

I have to admit, I'm a sucker for sports anime. So, despite the simple storyline, I really appreciate the excitement of the races. And I didn't mind the slight romance in this film—JP is so handsome, but I can't take my eyes off McLaren. Why is she so stunningly gorgeous?
Overall, it was a fantastic watch! The breathtaking visuals and thrilling races made me forget to breathe! I absolutely love it!
If you're a fan of amazing art and animation, this animated film is definitely for you! This time, the excitement from the races and the storyline were just the icing on the cake! haha

Redline is amazing. I remember when I saw it I went crazy with the animation. Incredible that not being so current it was already done such a good visual work. I agree with you that the story is not so solid but yes, just for the animation and the speed it deserves to be seen.
