Ask Anime Question of the Week:
Gap-moe means affection born of inconsistency between different aspects of the character. The classic one is tsundere, where the gap is between romantic affection and violence (physical or psychological). - some link from quora.

My favorite gap moe is Zoro of One Piece... He's so calm and cool, but his sense of direction is uncanny. hahaha He even visits other anime. JK~
Another fave character of mine, Kuroo of Haikyuu! is also the cool and passionate type, but he can be really goofy and nerdy as well.
Tsukasa and Hanako from TBHK! You can never expect these cute-looking boys to do crazy stuff. They look like they can't harm a soul, and they also act like easy-going boys, but don't mistake them for being harmless because these two can easily kill—Hanako with a knife and Tsukasa with bare hands (eeekkk)!!
The sheer inconsistency in the melon sizes of the characters in 'Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro' 😅
Pre character development that adds to the plot.
