Anime Tracks Thursday Contest

Imagine you're the DJ and I'm your audience.

I'm pretty sure you've heard a lot of anime songs or are you always skipping the OST? 😅 Hopefully, you still listen to the songs every now and then because they're gems!

For this week’s theme, we’ll go melancholic!

Requesting a song that will make you feel like you've been through something

It should be an anime song, of course. Old or new, anything is fine as long as it suits with the theme.

When we listen to this song, it makes us think deeply even though we're not really going through anything in life. But who knows, maybe listening to it, it will make us realize that we're actually in a deep mess. Oops.

Thank you for the kind reward!

A song that makes me think I have been through something is probably from One Punch Man, I often feel like a lone wolf sometimes , so the song sort of fits for me.

Powerful tune! Probably it will match perfectly and do its job to many thrilling videofeeds!

I wish I just had the super power! LOL

'Are you such a dreamer to turn the world to right...' (c) T.Y.

No, but I think the duality of our world will keep things balanced over time.

I cant believe if somebody have missed this, but things like this happen; 🙏 do watch it. 🐈🐈🐈

( here is a little teaser ))))

...and the music.

...this deceptively naive kid song with simple words (just "la-la-la') was sung by composer Joe Hasaishi's 4-year-old daughter for the anime 'Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind' (1979) - one of my all-time faves. Post-acalyptic thriller, with anti-war pathos, toxic and dangerous biosphere, and a strong female-protagonist fencing character - thats Miyazaki's stunning masterpiece. (One of many!) This soundtrack theme is labelled as 'Requiem', and it accompanies the girl's miraculous revival after almost death. Every time I hear (and see) this scene, my eyes become wet from emotion and catharsis. If I was to create a separate blog about this song, I could fill it with variety of cover versions: people perform this tune using piano, bass-guitar, violin, musical box organ... even glass harp or PC game! I'm not alone, this music definitely touches the hearts of thousands of people.

So simple lyrically, yet so powerful. Great tune. The Anime looks pretty cool too and gives me Apidya vibes from back in the day. Added to my watch list! 😀

O! so it was new to you? very nice that I have informed you, then. ☘️

Turned on Apidya OST!

This is a great contest! I love anime songs and listen to them all the time!

This song not only makes me remember the scenes of the show every time I listen to it, but it also overlaps what we all have to face someday in our lives. It makes me emotional sometimes.

Oops, I forgot to mention...the song is Homura and it's from Kimetsu no Yaiba, of course!😆

I've been listening to this nonstop for how many months, and then recently again. Who could forget this song from LiSA! This screams perfection from what I want to hear 😉
And yeah me too, everytime I listen to this song, I remember those scenes from the show and makes me emotional too~

Me too!
I started listening to it again after leaving the comment here.
I don’t know if I’m ready to watch the show again though. I cried so hard.

It's time to watch! There's a new season 😅

Listening to this is like, I'm in the middle of being emotional. You know, the kind of background music that'll play when you are going through something and this will be the trigger for a tears. It's beautiful but sad, with it's melody and all.

I got emotional writing the comment here🤣 such a beautiful song.

If you're looking for a song that makes you feel a whirlwind of emotions, "Hikari no Hahen" is the choice. The lyrics speak of "fragments of light" and how those precious moments remain etched in our memory. It's a song that makes you reflect on the moments that have marked your life....

Ahhh, what a beautiful song 🤩. Haven't heard this one before ✨

The lyrics are so deep but it's nice! Never watched this anime version so I didn't really know about the song.
Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations to the winners and a pleasure to have participated 😍

This time I will choose this song from the anime "Bungo Stray Dogs" because since I heard it I could feel a melody of nostalgia and melancholy both for its rhythm and lyrics and I think it is very touching to the heart ❤️ I think it leaves a motivational message that many of us can identify with at some point in our lives.

The lyrics, the melody and the band, so perfect! It's been a while since I watched Bungo Stray Dogs so I haven’t remembered this song but when I listened now, aaahhh it just hits different. Such beautiful song! Thanks for sharing!

It's been a long time since I watched BSD, I feel like watching it again, after listening to this 🤩

This track called namely is one which would always hit.

The final ending of Nanatsu no Taizai

After watching the full anime, this song was just the perfect bow untop to make you feel like you were in the same curse as Meliodas and Elizabeth.

😞

Wow!!! Thank you so much. :)

There are some songs I have in mind, but the RESET by Taichi Mukai from the anime Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru came on top. We all deserve another chance especially when we failed or lost something. So, we try to reset and grab another ticket to take something back or make things right. :)

It's a reminder for us to start again and do better after we've been through something and felt like it's the end...

It has a really lively beat though, but it sounds so catchy. Thats whats I feel when listening this song, i have no idea about the lyrics, but I feel like this will cheer me up during those sad moments or something.

It's more mellow than lively for me... Most ending songs are... :)
The lyrics is about trying again after going through something. That's why it's entitled, "RESET". :)

Nice suggestion. I haven’t heard this song so it’s nice knowing about it. Catchy melody. The lyrics - they’re great. It kinda reminds me that there’s always another try, that you can reset everything.

Glad to introduce you this song, then. :)
If you get the chance, I recommend you watch this anime, too...
You're familiar with Hakone Ekiden, right? The anime's about it. xDD

This song from the Anime series, "The World Is Still Beautiful." This version, like seriously! Listening to this is like a trigger to make you cry. It is beautiful, so emotional and so good to my ears. Like, i'm happy, but then when this play, I can't help but to tear up. Bat ganon 🤧🤧.

I heard this song before but never thought it’s from an anime. Great recommendation! It’s so emotional 🥹

Ehhhhh, so you haven't watch this series?

I can't remember! I tried remembering but I don't remembering anything, your honor 😂

Without no specific reasons, I get really melancholic whenever I hear this song. It's Orange by 7!! (a second ending theme of Your Lie in April). Its tune was sad, but when I dicover its lyric, it somehow made me hopeful and same time sad again (lol ahuhuhuhu). It sometimes made me reminisce my past (mostly sad) memories... It's really a good song to listen whenever you wanted to feel how sad you are...
