Splinterlands Art Contest --- Drawing of Vampiric Blossom

Special greetings to you all my friends on this very day, as i welcome you all to my splinterlands art post. I would be sharing my entry with you all, my entry is about the card named Vampiric Blossom which i find quite interesting. The character is a wild plate that can devour its prey at anytime, with it giant teeths outside and inside its mouth. You dont want to be left alone with this plant, at first I couldn't get my hands around the outline. I had to take my time to put it together before shading. Outline gives you the direction in which the artwork should follow like a layout plan for a building but remember the design could be changed during construction.

I started with drawing a sketchy outline of the image before i used my 7B pencil to shade out the image. A drawing is incomplete until you shade it, it gives life to any image so i did so little by little till i got what i wanted.
