Hello everyone.Hope you all are doing well.Today I am here in this community after a long time with a fanart of splinterland character.This character is a fiery dragon character.I chose this character because of its flame and sharp features.I was really inspired with the look of this character and tried my best to recreate it.
This character was very difficult.The flame part was very tricky and i struggled alot while making this part because i have never made them before.This project took me 4 to 5 hours to complete.I started it yesterday night but didn't have the courage to complete it so today i did the remaining work and completed the sketch.
So let's start with the materials you need and the procedure i followed to make this.
Material needed
1)sketchbook
2)marker colours
3)pencil
4)black pointer
Procedure
I started by making the sketch of the dragon.Started from the mouth part which took me very long time, so i only made the mouth part last night and slept because i was so tired.
Today i started my making the belly part of the dragon.Belly part was easy but then i started on the leg part which was a bit hard.The nails of the dragon gave me a hard time.I was trying to make them perfect because they were the main part of the sketch to make it more realistic so i didn't compromise on them.
After tracing the whole sketch with the black marker i started on coloring the body of the dragon.I used the same colors as the inspiration picutre.The colors were yellow,orange and red.
Then i started on the wings.I didn't draw it before because i knew it is gonna be hard for me to complete everything in one go.For the wings i first draw some flames and then colored them.
I felt a pressure while making this part because i knew if i mess up this part everything will look horrible so i tried my best and with calm and slow hands i completed this part and it turned out pretty well.
