Today, I want to share with you my latest work, another Spotify cover that, my God, I LOVED MAKING 😭 The truth is I was in love with the result so stay until the end if you want to see how it turned out! ♡

Espero que disfrutéis a lo grande de este fin de semana que está a punto de comenzar, yo por aquí, muy feliz de volver a compartir algo con vosotros y por supuesto de ver también vuestros trabajos.
Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros mi último trabajo, otro cover de Spotify que, Dios mío, ME ENCANTÓ HACER 😭 La verdad es que quedé enamorada del resultado así que quedaos hasta el final si queréis ver cómo quedó. ♡
The program I use for all this is Clip Studio Paint and my graphics tablet is a Gaomon S620. The first thing I would like to mention is the concept of the cover. The album is called “Good Eye” and has a context that is a bit open to interpretation. The idea for this cover is that it should have an enigmatic aura, with warm and mysterious colors, that it should be visually pleasing because of its colors but that it should also have SMALL elements that completely mark the meaning of the cover. In addition to this, it had to have an illustration in my style completely colored, which I loved to do since the Spotify covers I've done so far, have not been exactly colored but based on another style 🤍.
Based on this, I took some references from Pinterest to identify more or less what I wanted. The first image as the essence or style of the cover and the second, the colors I would like to apply ♡.
El programa que utilizo para todo esto es Clip Studio Paint y mi tableta gráfica es una Gaomon S620. Lo primero que me gustaría mencionar es el concepto de la portada. El álbum se llama «Good Eye» y tiene un contexto un poco abierto a la interpretación. La idea para esta portada es que tuviera un aura enigmática, con colores cálidos y misteriosos, que fuera visualmente agradable por sus colores pero que también tuviera PEQUEÑOS elementos que marcaran completamente el significado de la portada. Además de esto, debía tener una ilustración a mi estilo completamente coloreada, cosa que me encantó hacer ya que las portadas de Spotify que he hecho hasta ahora, no han sido exactamente coloreadas sino basadas en otro estilo 🤍.
En base a esto, tomé algunas referencias de Pinterest para identificar más o menos lo que quería. La primera imagen como la esencia o estilo de la portada y la segunda, los colores que me gustaría aplicar ♡.

Now we can begin. The first thing I did as usual was to make the sketch in a red color, only representing as such the base of the character and guide lines ♡.
Ahora ya podemos empezar. Lo primero que hice como siempre fue hacer el boceto en un color rojo, sólo representando como tal la base del personaje y líneas guía ♡.
After making the sketch, I lowered the opacity of this layer and went directly to make the Lineart, I made it a dark blue color which I changed later to black. In this part I did draw the key elements as it is like the main “Drawing”, so I paid attention to details ♡.
Luego de hacer el boceto, bajé la opacidad de esta capa y pasé directamente a hacer el Lineart, lo hice de un color azul oscuro que luego cambié a negro. En esta parte sí dibujé los elementos clave ya que es como el «Dibujo» principal, por lo que presté atención a los detalles ♡.
Before continuing with the other elements of the Lineart, on a separate canvas I drew a skull which I placed on the main canvas in the eye, representing something like the skull is the pupil of the eye. I feel it was a KEY element, since because of the name of the album, having this sarcastic touch was something that completely materialized the main context and vibe of the album. With that, I ended the Lineart ♡.
Antes de continuar con los demás elementos del Lineart, en un lienzo aparte dibujé una calavera que coloqué en el lienzo principal en el ojo, representando algo así como que la calavera es la pupila del ojo. Siento que fue un elemento CLAVE, ya que por el nombre del álbum, tener este toque sarcástico era algo que materializaba completamente el contexto y la vibra principal del álbum. Con esto di por finalizado el Lineart ♡.
I then proceeded to add the base colors. To do this, I first colored the drawing completely in one color, in this case I used a bluish gray, and then applied the base colors in a layer order of: Skin, hair and clothes, as I always usually do. Here I went a little bit ahead and also added some blush on the cheeks haha ♡.
A continuación, procedí a añadir los colores base. Para ello, primero coloreé el dibujo completamente de un color, en este caso utilicé un gris azulado,y luego apliqué los colores base en un orden de capas de: Piel, pelo y ropa, como siempre suelo hacer. Aquí me adelanté un poco y también añadí algo de colorete en las mejillas jaja ♡.
And after I had my base colors ready, I started with my favorite part which is rendering. Here I mostly add varieties of tones, textures, glows, shadows, and other things.
First as always, I start with the skin rendering ♡.
Y después de tener listos mis colores base, empecé con mi parte favorita, que es el renderizado. Aquí sobre todo añado variedades de tonos, texturas, brillos, sombras y otras cosas.
Primero como siempre, empiezo con el renderizado de la piel ♡.

After completely finishing the coloring and rendering, I applied a layer of green color with the “Multiply” option so that my coloring would take those warm and greenish tones that I wanted in the drawing. Then, I added shadows and the background color ♡.
Después de terminar completamente el coloreado y el renderizado, apliqué una capa de color verde con la opción «Multiplicar» para que mi coloreado tomara esos tonos cálidos y verdosos que quería en el dibujo. Después, añadí sombras y el color de fondo ♡.
Last but not least, of course, the name of the album! ♡
Por último, pero no menos importante, por supuesto, ¡el nombre del álbum! ♡
