Last breath

Buenas noches a todos. Hace mucho que no hacia algo con un ligero toque de surrealismo y aunque no estaba en mis planes al pensar en que dibujar, solo fui experimentando mientras hacia el boceto, me gusto bastante este dibujo ya que me recuerda mucho a la mejor época que tuve dibujando, donde hacia lo que me gustaba y tenia muchas ideas un poco extrañas que al final me conquistaban muchísimo, quise hacer los ojos muy diferentes esta vez y sinceramente me dan miedo a pesar de que yo misma los dibuje jajaja, pero se ven un poco idos, como la mirada de las personas a punto de morir… Espero que les guste.

Good evening everyone.
It's been a long time since I did something with a slight touch of surrealism and although it was not in my plans when thinking about what to draw, I was just experimenting while I was doing the sketch, I liked this drawing because it reminds me a lot of the best time I had drawing, where I did what I liked and I had many strange ideas that in the end conquered me a lot, I wanted to make the eyes very different this time and honestly they scare me even though I drew them myself hahaha, but they look a bit ida, like the look of the people about to die... I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realicé el boceto y empecé a colorear el rostro, para la piel elegí tonos rosas y lilas muy suaves, en una nueva capa añadí mas color para darle forma por completo al rostro, después empecé a mezclar los colores hasta dejar una piel suave, pero manteniendo un poco la textura, pintar los ojos se me hizo bastante difícil ya que no suelo hacerlos asi, pero al final quedo justo como lo imaginé. Esta vez no quería usar un color rojo para las partes donde se supone debería haber “sangre” ya que necesitaba un color que combinara con la paleta de color que estaba usando por eso termine usando un tono fucsia.

I made the sketch and started to color the face, for the skin I chose very soft pink and lilac tones, in a new layer I added more color to give the face a complete shape, then I started to mix the colors until I left a soft skin, but keeping the texture a little bit, painting the eyes was quite difficult since I don't usually do them like that, but in the end it was just as I imagined it. This time I didn't want to use a red color for the parts where there was supposed to be “blood” as I needed a color that matched the color palette I was using so I ended up using a fuchsia tone.

Luego pinté el cabello con marrón oscuro y agregue iluminaciones con un marrón suave, quise agregar “sangre” saliendo de los ojos y recorriendo todo el rostro, cuello y pecho, nuevamente usando un tono fucsia, quise pintar unas flores cerca de la abertura entre el cuello y torso, pero no buscaba darle demasiados detalles, después cambie el fondo a un azul claro desaturado y un poco de luz justo alrededor de la silueta, tambien añadí puntos de luces en los ojos, labios, nariz para hacerlos resaltar un poco más, finalice realizando un ajuste de color aumentando la saturación y el contraste.

Then I painted the hair with dark brown and added highlights with a soft brown, I wanted to add “blood” coming out of the eyes and running all over the face, neck and chest, again using a fuchsia tone, I wanted to paint some flowers near the opening between the neck and torso, but I didn't want to give too much detail, then I changed the background to a light blue desaturated and a little light just around the silhouette, I also added highlights in the eyes, lips, nose to make them stand out a little more, I finished by making a color adjustment increasing the saturation and contrast.
