Good evening everyone.
Today I will share with you a recently finished drawing that I really liked, it reminds me a lot of my first drawings, where I always wanted to have those nostalgic vibes and at the same time of terror, however, I wanted to try it with a mix of pretty random colors where I played with pinks, greens, olives, yellows and blues, it was a little complicated, the part of the shadows in the cheekbone area didn't convince me too much, I felt it gave a dirty finish, but after finishing it I accepted it like this, in the end I liked it, it gives a curious and different contrast, I wanted to make the mouth with a wound and with threads that simulate that it is sewn and the rest was flowing with the drawing, I'm really very happy with how it turned out.
I started this drawing a few days ago but I had not had time to continue it, at that time I made the sketch and put the base colors on the skin at once so that the next time I had to retake it I would not forget the colors I wanted to use hahaha, in a new layer I added more colors giving shape and volume to the face, then I started to paint the hair with a dark blue.
Then I made the mixture of the colors using a diffuse brush and a medium opacity, I painted the clothes and the background, in this opportunity I tried with a grayish blue background and in the lower part a mustard tonality, I started to give lights to the hair for which I used a purple color and then I wanted to add green and pink sparkles, I painted the wound in the mouth and added more color to the face, then I drew the lines that simulate the thread sewing around the wound, I added lights in the eyes and certain parts of the face that I wanted to highlight, to finish I made a color adjustment playing a little with the curves tools, basically I wanted to give more contrast and depth to the drawing.
