Feliz inicio de semana amigos, hoy quiero presentarles mi nueva entrada para esta semana en el concurso de Splinterlands, para esta oportunidad elegí la carta de Twisted Jester, una carta que quería hacer desde hace mucho tiempo ya que su estilo me parece bastante interesante para hacerlo de alguna forma que luciese malvado y un poco aterrador, esta vez quise representarlo en forma de chica, sentada en una silla de metal mirando fijamente con una mascara que tiene una sonrisa llena de maldad, quise usar tonos morados aprovechando que su traje tiene estos colores, me gusto la idea de darle esa tonalidad a casi todo el dibujo, la verdad fue un trabajo bastante difícil con una idea que al principio no me convencía mucho, pero decidí confiar en el proceso y la verdad es que me ha gustado el resultado, espero que les guste mi representación.

Happy start to the week friends, today I want to present you my new entry for this week in the Splinterlands contest, for this opportunity I chose the Twisted Jester card, a card that I wanted to do for a long time since its style seems quite interesting to do it in a way that would look evil and a little scary, this time I wanted to represent it as a girl, sitting on a metal chair staring with a mask that has a smile full of evil, I wanted to use purple tones taking advantage of the fact that her suit has these colors I liked the idea of giving that tonality to almost the entire drawing, the truth was quite a difficult job with an idea that at first did not convince me much, but I decided to trust the process and the truth is that I liked the result, I hope you like my representation.

Tenia varias ideas en mente pero esta me pareció la mas genial, realice el boceto creando un traje similar a Twisted Jester pero adaptándolo un poco a mi estilo, una mascara sencilla pero con una decoración diferente y unos labios un poco mas humanos, creando una sonrisa malvada, elegi una paleta de colores con tonos azules y morados que me parecieron muy bonitos y comencé a pintar su torso y brazos, luego comencé a pintar el rostro/mascara, con unos tonos morados mas claros, comencé a difuminar estos colores para crear una piel suave, pero manteniendo un toque rustico en los trazos, luego comencé a pintar su ropa, empecé por el gorro.

I had several ideas in mind but this seemed the coolest, I made the sketch creating a costume similar to Twisted Jester but adapting it a bit to my style, a simple mask but with a different decoration and slightly more human lips, creating a smile evil, I chose a color palette with blue and purple tones that seemed very pretty and I began to paint her torso and arms, then I began to paint the face/mask, with some lighter purple tones, I began to blend these colors to create a soft skin, but maintaining a rustic touch in the strokes, then I began to paint her clothes, I started with the hat.

Con luces y sombras de tonos morados le comencé a dar forma al gorro, ahora continue pintando el resto de su ropa haciendo la misma técnica que en el gorro, aunque cambié el diseño de la ropa quise mantener un poco los colores y el orden de ellos a comparación a la imagen original de la carta, me gusto mucho como se estaba viendo el dibujo. Para la silla de fondo quería hacerla dorado, pero mas adelante decidí hacerla de un color plata. Agregue mas detalles en el rostro, quise mantener esos circulos negros alrededor de los ojos, asi que los pinte pero dandole una forma mas alargada, pinte la decoracion en el rostro para luego ocuparme del fondo, en el cual pinte con morado y negro creando una especie de "Telon"

With lights and shades of purple tones I began to shape the hat, now continue painting the rest of her clothes using the same technique as in the hat, although I changed the design of the clothes I wanted to keep the colors and their order a bit Compared to the original image of the card, I really liked how was looking this fan art.
For the chair in the background I wanted to make it gold, but later I decided to make it a silver color.
Add more details on the face, I wanted to keep those black circles around the eyes, so I painted them but giving it a more elongated shape, I painted the decoration on the face and then I took care of the background, in which I painted with purple and black creating a kind of "curtain"

Aquí decidí pintar la silla con tonos grises creando una estructura mas metálica que de oro, agregue mas brillo al fondo y mas decoraciones en el rostro, para resaltar algunas partes del dibujo realice pequeños destellos de luz en ciertas zonas del rostro y cuerpo, en los ojos aplique un rojo bastante llamativo para resaltar una luz saliendo de ellos, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color hasta estar satisfecha con todas las tonalidades de la imagen.

Here I decided to paint the chair with gray tones creating a more metallic than gold structure, add more shine to the background and more decorations on the face, to highlight some parts of the drawing, make small flashes of light in certain areas of the face and body, in the eyes apply a rather striking red to highlight a light coming from them, finally apply a color adjustment until you are satisfied with all the tones of the image.
