Hola amigos espero que estén muy bien, para esta semana quise elegir una carta que había hecho anteriormente pero en aquella oportunidad la hice en compañía de otro personaje y no pude resaltar por completo los rasgos de esta carta que tanto me gustan, por eso hoy decidí hacerla en solitario haciendo mi versión con una estética un poco diferente a la ultima vez, Water caller me parece una carta muy hermosa y estéticamente tierna por eso esta vez quise representarla de una manera menos adorable y hacer una versión donde su mirada fuese bastante penetrante llena de muchos tonos fríos y en una atmosfera marina alrededor. Se me ocurrió dibujar esta especie de fuente que pretende dar la impresión de que esta hecha con piedras donde sale un agua muy azul y mágica, alrededor, ella sumergida en un agua un poco mas opaca, modifique un poco el traje pero mantuve muchos elementos que me gustaban, realmente fue un trabajo algo difícil pero poco a poco siento que me adapto mas a este estilo, espero que les guste.

Hello friends I hope you are very well, for this week I wanted to choose a card that I had done previously but in that opportunity I did it in company of another character and I could not highlight completely the features of this card that I like so much, for that reason today I decided to do it alone doing my version with a little different aesthetic to the last time, Water caller seems to me a very beautiful and aesthetically tender card, for that reason this time I wanted to represent her in a less adorable way and to do a version where her look was quite penetrating full of many cold tones and in a marine atmosphere around.
It occurred to me to draw this kind of fountain that pretends to give the impression that it is made with stones where a very blue and magical water comes out, around it, she submerged in a little more opaque water, I modified a little the costume but I kept many elements that I liked, it was really a somewhat difficult work but little by little I feel that I adapt myself more to this style, I hope you like it.

Con la idea en mente de como quería plasmar esta carta, realice el boceto, elegí los colores para trabajar en este caso eran muchos tonos azules, comencé aplicando un azul pálido como base, luego agregue mas tonalidades para moldear mejor la figura, utilice una variedad de azules y un tono crema para iluminar, comencé a mezclar estos colores para darle forma a todo, comenzando por el rostro, seguido del cuerpo, pinté el cabello con morado oscuro y luego agregue los tonos base a la vestimenta, los cuales sustraje de la carta original pero buscando tonos menos saturados de la misma gama.

With the idea in mind of how I wanted to capture this card, I made the sketch, I chose the colors to work with, in this case there were many blue tones, I started applying a pale blue as a base, then I added more shades to better shape the figure, I used a variety of blues and a cream tone to illuminate, I began to mix these colors to give shape to everything, starting with the face, followed by the body, I painted the hair with dark purple and then I added the base tones to the clothing, which I subtracted from the original card but looking for less saturated tones of the same range.

La piel tenia demasiada textura para mi gusto, así que comencé a utilizar el pincel difuso para repasar los tonos de la piel en una opacidad baja y así darle ese aspecto suave que buscaba, pinte esta especie de “bufanda” que tiene alrededor de los hombros, esto lo hice también con el pincel difuso y agregue tonos claros y oscuros para darle mas volumen, luego comencé a agregar sombras y luces a la ropa creando algunos pliegues para un resultado mas realista, ahora me encargue de darle forma al cabello utilizando una gama de morados claros para agregarle mas brillo y movimiento, termine de pintar toda la ropa y fui agregando el fondo, para el cual pinte esta especie de mar y un cielo con tonalidades azules y grises. Pinte esta pequeña fuente en frente de ella, utilice tonos azules oscuros, claros y grises.

The skin had too much texture for my taste, so I started to use the blur brush to go over the skin tones in a low opacity to give it that soft look I was looking for, I painted this kind of "scarf" that she has around her shoulders, I did this also with the blur brush and added light and dark tones to give it more volume, then I began to add shadows and lights to the clothes creating some folds for a more realistic result, now I took care of shaping the hair using a range of light purple to add more brightness and movement, I finished painting all the clothes and I was adding the background, for which I painted this kind of sea and a sky with blue and gray tones.
I painted this small fountain in front of her, I used dark blue, light blue and gray tones.

Para hacer mas realista el fondo, empecé a dibujar ondas en el mar y algunos puntos de luz, luego agregue tonos mas oscuros en la parte frontal del mar para hacerlo ver aun mejor, en la fuente, dibuje un ovalo azul claro el cual rellene con otros tonos de azul para crear esta fuente de agua mágica, también se me ocurrió pintar algunas gotas de agua desafiando a la gravedad y subiendo hasta su mano, ya era hora de agregar algunas iluminaciones para darle mas vida al dibujo, así que cree una capa con el modo “screen” y el pincel en un ajuste de “Color Dodge” para así hacer resaltar aun mas las partes que quería iluminar, para finalizar realice un pequeño ajuste de color que no se nota mucho pero si cambie un poco la tonalidad de la piel haciéndola un poco menos azul.

To make the background more realistic, I started drawing waves in the sea and some points of light, then I added darker tones in the front part of the sea to make it look even better, in the fountain, I drew a light blue oval which I filled with other shades of blue to create this magical water fountain, I also thought of painting some drops of water defying gravity and going up to her hand, it was time to add some illuminations to give more life to the drawing, so I created a layer with the "screen" mode and the brush in a "Color Dodge" setting to highlight even more the parts that I wanted to illuminate, to finish I made a small color adjustment that is not very noticeable but I changed a little the skin tone making it a little less blue.
