Feliz noche comunidad, hoy presento mi ultimo trabajo, esta vez trabajando con un fondo que no suelo utilizar, pero que siempre he querido probar, por eso lo he aplicado en este retrato al cual intente ponerle muchos detalles para que luciese algo realista, los fondos blancos o gris claro siempre me han perturbado un poco, pero probándolos con los retratos que encajan con ese fondo dan un resultado muy genial, la verdad me encanto como quedo, siento que es uno de mis retratos favoritos, tiene algo realismo, ojos grandes, un poco de nostalgia que transmite en el rostro, un fondo neutro con unas flores colocadas simétricamente, espero que les guste tanto como me gusto a mi.

Happy night community, today I present my latest work, this time working with a background that I don't usually use, but that I've always wanted to try, that's why I've applied it in this portrait to which I tried to put a lot of details to make it look realistic, the backgrounds whites or light gray have always disturbed me a bit, but trying them with the portraits that fit with that background give a very great result, I really loved how it turned out, I feel that it is one of my favorite portraits, it has something realistic, big eyes, a bit of nostalgia that it transmits on the face, a neutral background with some flowers placed symmetrically, I hope you like it as much as I liked it.

Proceso/Process

Para esta ocasión quería un retrato bastante cerca, que me permitiese dar mas detalles al rostro, así que después de realizar el boceto comencé a agregar los colores, utilizando una paleta de colores piel desaturados y aplicando con un pincel difuso las zonas donde estaría mas claro y mas oscuro, en una nueva capa comencé a agregar mas tonos y darle mas forma a las facciones, en una tercera capa comencé a difuminar desde los ojos al resto de la cara dándole suavidad a los tonos que coloque de base.

For this occasion I wanted a fairly close portrait, which would allow me to give more details to the face, so after making the sketch I began to add the colors, using a palette of desaturated skin colors and applying with soft brush to the areas where it would be lighter and darker, in a new layer I began to add more tones and give more shape to the features, in a third layer I began to blend from the eyes to the rest of the face giving softness to the tones that I placed as a base.

Me encanta el cabello negro y me parecía que hacia buen contraste con su piel que es algo pálida, así que pinte todo el cabello con negro y pinte las pestañas, cejas y le di más forma a los labios, en una nueva capa realice los destellos de luz en el cabello usando un azul casi gris y una opacidad baja, quise aclarar un poco mas los ojos asi que los pinte un poquito mas gris claro y añadí mas color en el rostro creando esta especie de rubor en la nariz y pómulos, para ello utilice una tonalidad naranja oscuro y ajustando la capa con el modo de fusión “overlay” ahora hice otra capa donde comenzaría a aplicar brillos para resaltar algunas partes del rostro, para esto utilice el modo de fusión “screen” y asi realice los pequeños puntos de luz en los ojos, nariz, boca y pómulos. También pinte un pequeño piercing en la nariz, me gusto darle ese sutil detalle.

I love black hair and I thought it contrasted well with her pale skin, so I painted all the hair with black and painted the eyelashes, eyebrows and gave more shape to the lips, in a new layer I made the sparkles of light in the hair using an almost gray blue and a low opacity, I wanted to lighten the eyes a little more so I painted them a little more light gray and added more color in the face creating this kind of blush on the nose and cheekbones, for this I used a dark orange tone and adjusting the layer with the blending mode "overlay" now I made another layer where I would begin to apply shine to highlight some parts of the face, for this use the blending mode "screen" and thus make the small dots of light in the eyes, nose, mouth and cheekbones.
I also painted a small piercing on the nose, I liked giving it that subtle detail.

Para la ropa decidí ir por algo simple, dibuje un suéter con cuello alto, me parece que se ve elegante y el color combina mas con el fondo, como les comente decidí probar con un fondo claro, en esta ocasión es blanco, también utilice unos brushes que descargue hace mucho tiempo pero que jamás había utilizado, son unos pinceles que tienen esta forma de flores vintage, hay muchísimas flores y ramas bastante lindas, esta que elegí fue mi favorita y ubique la misma flor de ambos lados simétricamente. Dibuje unas lagrimas cayendo de los ojos usando un azul muy claro con el pincel en baja opacidad para hacerlo ver mas realista, finalmente aplique un ajuste de color a la imagen aportando un poco mas saturación y sombra.

For the clothes I decided to go for something simple, I drew a turtleneck sweater, I think it looks elegant and the color combines better with the background, as I told you I decided to try a light background, this time it is white, I also used some brushes that I downloaded a long time ago but that I had never used, these brushes have this shape of vintage flowers, there are many flowers and quite pretty branches, this one that I chose was my favorite and I placed the same flower on both sides symmetrically.
I drew some tears falling from the eyes using a very light blue with the brush at low opacity to make it look more realistic, finally I applied a color adjustment to the image adding a little more saturation and shadow.
