What's up people, how are you, welcome to a new post, since yesterday I was working on a fan art for this card, QUEEN OF CROWS a fairly new card, with a fairly interesting style and art, I liked the character design so much that I decided to make a fan art to try to be the first to make it.
Que pasa gente, como están? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, desde ayer estuve trabajando en un fan art para esta carta, QUEEN OF CROWS una carta bastante nueva, con un estilo y arte bastante interesante, me gusto tanto el diseño del personaje que decidí hacer un fan art para tratar de ser el primero en realizarla.
Process / Proceso
When I had finished the sketch laptop decided to shut down so I lost the whole sketch, luckily I had sent pictures of how my fan art was coming out to Oscariart, it saved me from one because otherwise I would have lost everything.
Cuando había terminado el boceto laptop decidió apagarse por lo que perdí todo el boceto, por suerte le había mandado fotos de como iba quedando mi fan art a Oscariart, me salvo de una porque de lo contrario hubiera perdido todo.
In the same way I had to paint over the sketch to make another sketch, this delayed me an hour at least and made me upset because it was a very stupid way to lose a whole process, the face suffered a couple of changes in the eyes, they were a little weird and did not have that hint of intimidation that I was looking for.
De igual manera tuve que pintar encima del boceto para hacer otro boceto, esto me retraso una hora cuanto menos y me hizo molestar porque fue una forma muy estúpida de perder todo un proceso, el rostro sufrió un par de cambios en los ojos, estaban algo raros y no tenían esa pizca de intimidación que estaba buscando.
One of the most complicated parts of this fan art was the hair and making the ravens feathers, it was very time consuming to do, also because I wanted to use strong colors and it's not very easy to implement this with a semi realistic style, I spent quite a few hours adding textures and finishes on the arms to get an interesting look.
Una de las partes mas complicadas de este fan art fue el cabello y realizar las plumas de los cuervos, fue muy largo hacerlo, también porque quería utilizar colores fuertes y no es muy fácil implementar esto con un estilo semi realista, estuve bastantes horas agregando texturas y acabados en los brazos para conseguir un aspecto interesante.
After placing or finishing all the base I started shading and lighting the corresponding parts of the fan art, especially for the magic power I added on the hands and some mouths of the crows, after being trying different textures and ways of lighting on the crows I reached a quite pleasing finish for me, finally I gave a few small touches of light in the hair and @oscariart recommended me to place the crow of the clothes of a neon color since it could not be clearly appreciated by the tonality of this and the environment that I create in my illustration, when I finished it honestly I liked it better like this, it had a more interesting and highlighting touch.
Después de colocar o terminar toda la base comencé a sombrear e iluminar las partes correspondientes del fan art, especialmente por el poder mágico que le añadí en las manos y en algunas bocas de los cuervos, después de estar probando diferentes texturas y formas de iluminación en los cuervos llegue a un acabado bastante grato para mi, por ultimo di unos pequeños toques de luz en el cabello y @oscariart me recomendó colocar el cuervo de la ropa de un color neon ya que no se podía apreciar claramente por la tonalidad de este y del ambiente que cree en mi ilustración, cuando lo termine honestamente me gustaba mas asi, tenia un toque mas interesante y resaltante.

Impresionante. La pose definitivamente inspira poder y confianza, me gusta mucho la paleta de colores púrpura (es mi color favorito, quizá es por eso jaja). Creo que cada minuto invertido en los detalles y las texturas de las plumas valieron la pena, es un dibujo increíble!!

I love her hair too. Do you have a special brush you use for her hair and add the textures as well?

I tried Krita software some months ago but it was too heavy for my PC spec so I had to uninstall it🥺💔
