Greetings Hive friends. I present to you the following painting which I have titled; "Swarm". I have done the work in oil on canvas in a 30cmx30cm format. I hope you like it!

About the painting// Sobre la pintura:
The work is inspired by trees and their branches, however these are intertwined with each other in a surreal way and the branches are subdivided like cobwebs. In the painting there is no top or bottom, both trees can come from different directions, one has a tendency to cold colors and the other towards warm colors, you would not know if they are joining in harmony or fighting to dominate one over the other, In addition, strange and grotesque creatures move about in them and arrive aimlessly like a swarm to occupy the intricate branches.
La obra esta inspirada en arboles y sus ramas, sin embargo estos están entrelazados entre si de manera surrealista y las ramas se subdividen como telarañas. En el cuadro no existe arriba o abajo, ambos arboles pueden venir de distintas direcciones, uno tiene tendencia a colores fríos y el otro hacia los colores cálidos, no se sabría si estos se están uniendo en armonía o luchando por dominar uno sobre el otro, ademas en ellos se desplazan unas extrañas y grotescas criaturas que llegan sin destino como un enjambre a ocupar las intrincadas ramas.

To start the work, adapt a 40cmx30cm canvas to make it 30cmx30cm, then apply a layer of white acrylic paint on the blank canvas. Make a simple sketch of the general idea of the painting, then paint the background with plenty of paint thinned with linseed oil, cool colors at the ends and warm colors in the center. Once the background colors are dry, go on to paint the thicker branches of the trees and then the smaller branches, almost last detail the flowers and apply the darker colors. The last thing I painted were the grotesque creatures with which I ended the work.
Para iniciar el trabajo adapte un lienzo de 40cmx30cm a convertirlo en 30cmx30cm, luego aplique una capa de pintura blanca acrilica sobre el lienzo en blanco. Trace un bosquejo sencillo de la idea general de la pintura, luego pinte el fondo con bastante pintura diluida con aceite de linaza, en los extremos de colores fríos y en el centro colores cálidos. Una vez seco los colores del fondo pase a pintar las ramas mas gruesas de los arboles y luego las ramas mas pequeñas, casi por ultimo detalle las flores y aplique los colores mas oscuros. Lo ultimo que pinte fueron las criaturas grotescas con lo que daba por finalizada la obra.

The painting was made mainly to participate in the 30cmx30cm art exhibition organized by the AVVNFT Group and Portable Room at the Alexander Escalona gallery in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. In the exhibition 30 artists, almost all from the state of Lara.
La pintura la realice principalmente para participar en la exposición de arte 30cmx30cm organizada por el Grupo AVVNFT y Sala portátil en la galería Alexander Escalona en Barquisimeto, Venezuela. En la exposición participaron 30 artistas, casi todos del estado Lara.
Cesar Diaz and Zully Scott from Hivers Barquisimeto also visited the exhibition.
