~ Facial Recognition ~

I didn't realize how many masks I had generated over all this time. Whilst going through my old images I came across a few that might interest you. There are so many different variations with so many interesting combinations of color, symmetry, balance, detail, and composition that I couldn't resist sharing some.

Masks aren't really my thing but I could get into them if they always look this cool! I'm not saying there aren't cool masks. I used to really love the Halloween horror masks growing up. But the Venetian Masquerade masks or Carnival and Mardi Gras type masks aren't my thing. Although, after doing some research for some prompts I may have begun to change my mind a little.

I started to see the craftsmanship and artistry that went into making these masks back in history. The amount of care and detail that went into making these different kinds of masks was a beautiful thing to see. Some of the designs were unimaginably fantastic.

I don't think AI will ever be able to make those kinds of masks. Not without the help of 3D printing and other hardware. So, for now, appreciating the capability of human craftsmanship has inspired some of the art that you are looking at in these artificially created images.

I mean... they weren't artificially created or else you wouldn't be able to see them. But they were created with the magnificent capability of Artificial Intelligence. None of the AI art is as good as the art that inspired it, which humans created. However, I don't know that any human would have the creativity to render as many possible variations of potential creative combinations as the AI.

The ability to make drastic and subtle changes with such a wide range and scope of different settings at just a click or text prompt alteration makes this new way of creating a complete revolution in the arts. This new and constantly evolving medium of art generation is here to stay for better and worse.

I have discovered more traditional classic artists since learning to prompt AI than I did in all my additional years in art classes. I took art very far in school and learned all the usual suspects. But I delved deeper to prompt AI more accurately and it's paid off as far as finding new art inspirations is concerned.

I have benefitted from the generative arts in more ways than one and it's inspired and motivated me in my arts. Just the creativity to make new prompts and study to refine them is an art in itself, as I have said many times. But, the creativity that spawns from seeing some ideas come to fruition and the utter failure for others to manifest is hard to describe. When I merge my art with what I generate from the AI then my art journey will come full circle of sorts.

I look forward to trying to upstage some of my AI art generations when I get my graphic tablet and start to do digital art directly. It will be an uphill battle but I believe I am up for the challenge. Hell, the better generations I have until I get the tablet... the more I will have raised the bar for myself to overcome. IF that is not artistic synergy... then I don't know what is!

Thanks for stopping by! I really do appreciate your time and attention. I will be giving a little extra curation to more meaningful comments. I will also be giving even more curation for those that engage within this comment section with each other.

I would love to know which images are your favorites and why! It would also be super cool to hear any suggestions or ideas you have for me to try out later. I would give even more curation for anyone that shares something of their own from Ausbit's bot in the comments!!!

Until next time, y'all take care, and thanks again for dropping by!

All creative and beautiful

I like the 2, I would remove the eyes and leave the eyes of the 2 that accompany it.

4,5,6 fabulous but they are sad.

8 and 9 a delight for my eyes, especially the 9 there is a halo of mystery that I love and its violet color my favorite.

Yesterday I discovered that it is the syntography.

According to Wikipedia- Syntography is the process of generating digital images using machine learning and generative artificial intelligence programs.

The word arises as the union of the Latin synthĕsis and this from the Greek sýnthesis, "collection, composition", and the Greek graphḗ "writing, description".

Wow, i love new vocabulary words! The word for the week is Syntography. That's so cool, thanks for sharing your discovery.

Number 2 was probably my favorite in terms of creativity. I ran a few extra prompts to try and recreate it in better quality but it ended up taking a lot of time and I didn't want to delay posting. So, I added a couple of those new ones to go along with number 2.

The eyes are definitely off a bit off on almost all of these images but a small alteration in PS would do the trick. I haven't yet begun to do digital compositions or collage work with any of the images yet, but I have a feeling once I start I probably won't stop.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts about which ones you enjoyed and explaining a bit as to why!

Photoshop is amazing, but you never finish learning, every year new things come out, and it keeps undiscovered secrets.

Use the word Syntography in ideogram for some images and the result is fabulous.

PROMPT:

Syntography: The process of creating digital images using machine learning and generative artificial intelligence. This revolutionary technique allows artists and designers to explore new horizons of creativity and visualization, expanding the possibilities of expression in digital art. Syntography offers a surprising and vibrant experience, uniting the magic of human imagination with the power of technology in a unique and evocative flow of images.

Is beautiful

The first image with the stained glass windows is very pretty. I also like the 4th photo in fact I like them all. With such a pretty rendering it becomes difficult to sort. I would like to keep them all. I would go to discord to try your AI which looks magnificent. 10,000 times better than the stable first generation broadcast installed on my computer.

@cyboule I'm glad you liked these. I think number four, which was one of my favs, looks a lot like @alexa.art.

The renderings do turn out so nice... it's hard to sort through which ones to like best or which ones to try and improve on. I don't know what kind of hardware you are using... but Ausbit and a few of the others in there may be able to help you run one of these bots locally on your own setup like you did with the 1st gen. I wish I could run one of these bots on my own.

@castleberry In fact I installed Linux on an SSD on which I also installed "stablediffusion" first generation. I cut off internet access on my SSD because the software was updated and buggy. I'm not a programmer and had a lot of difficulty installing the software. I have a 3070 video card with only 8 GB of RAM dedicated to the card and its problem. I cannot have a resolution higher than 512. Afterwards, when an image suits me, I rework it and try to increase its resolution to be able to have an image that can be used in my creations. I use software that works a bit like a PDF file, it allows an image to enlarge to make posters. With this long method I manage to create my artistic works which feed my blog. The solution would be to have another video card with 16 GB of dedicated RAM. At the moment, I don't make enough money to be able to buy one. I'm amazed to see the images generated with the new AI model. The positive thing about this business is that I process my images myself and this has allowed me to acquire skills that I would not have had if I had had a better card. Subsequently, if you would like to give me several prompt lines, I would like to generate them for you and send them back to you so that you can compare them with your software. But I already know the result in 512.

The standard preset for size of image output is 512x512... but there are settings to change size (height and width separately) or to change the orientation with preset sizes, and to upscale as well as high resolution settings to get even more interesting and quality results. So, the size isn't a limiting factor for the quality with the Arty bot. That's the name of the main one.

I don't know all the specs about what resources are required to run the bot locally... but you could use the bot for a while and see if it's something that will give you better and hopefully faster results to achieve what you are aiming to do. I commend you on learning all that you have to make it this far in your art journey and applying the new technology.

When I have some time this afternoon or evening I will try and round up a few prompts for you to run on your setup and we can compare and contrast the results together, if you like. Is there anything in particular that you would like me to do theme or subject wise?

I am really looking forward to trying out the collage and digital arts while also supplementing the designs with some AI infused aspects. It's been a seed of an idea that's been germinating for quite a while. Fortunately, I have quite a bit of material already generated to draw from.

No, nothing special, you can choose what you like.

Yeah, you are right. They all look so good. Pleasing to the eyes.

Fabulous!!!! This is my favourite, but all the ones that follow where it looks like they have masks I love, mystery and sensuality. I really like that!!! you've achieved some crazy and beautiful images!!!!
image.png

Haha, you are right. This is a crazy one. Unexplainably perfect.

These creations are amazing!

Excellent details on these pieces. I like that the colours are somewhat muted and not so popping bright.

image.png

Yes, there were a few artists and details to put into the prompt to get some of the more toned down colors. It's pretty amazing how a few tiny details can alter and entire composition or design within the art and it's generations. The eyes on this one you featured is probably one of my favs. The balance and symmetry turned out pretty good also! Thanks for swinging by my friend.

It's pretty amazing how a few tiny details can alter and entire composition or design within the art and it's generations.

Just imagine how much control these tools will gives us as they develop further. But to be honest, part of me likes the random surprises that I get from the prompts.

Wow, those are really great. I think I like the fourth one the best for sure. There is just something about it that speaks to me.

I wonder what it spoke to you?! I love that one too and I think it looks like Alexa.Art here on Hive. I tagged her once in another comment so I don't want to spam her. But check out her profile where she has some creative makeup posts. I think you will see what I mean. Maybe your subconscious saw that too?

I think it was the black lipstick, but also the fact that she is beautiful, but kind of sad looking all at the same time. Like there is a lot hidden behind her eyes that we will never know about.

That's pretty deep and after going back and looking with those things in mind... i fully resonate with what you said. There is an underlying tone that is inexplicable. Thanks for expanding on that.

No problem. I'm glad you were able to see it through my eyes :)

These arts are amazing, and like you've stated, they were manually created by humans, which added more juice to the historical world.

I have come across some of the masks shown above from movies, while I have been opportuned to wear the third before the last generated image.

The fact that you see great value in this and even ready to learn and use the artistic skills you have to develop more in the future is a beauty yet to be beheld.

I'm glad you liked the art and resonated with what I said about it. Masks can be cool and it's interesting the role they play in cultures all over the world. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

untitled.gif

Yeas, it is very interesting to see how they play important roles in some peoples culture.

You are welcome 😁. Thanks for sharing, too.

that is interesting, human can make a better art, but AI defeted them in term of speed and variation isn't it?
things that might take hours or days, can be done with one click and a sentence logn prompt.

I think the battle is still being waged so there is not a total defeat quite yet. I think it's going to merge and take art to whole new heights of expression that never existed before.

Super! 👍

Wonderful imagery

Which one was your favorite?

The fourth one down 😁

Fantastic choice! I need to remember to number them so it's easier for everyone to discuss a particular image. hahaha
That was a great choice. I mentioned in another comment in this post thread that the image you chose looks a lot like another artist here on Hive. I tagged her in the comment to Cyboule so you can go click the tag and see her profile if you are curious. Alexa.Art

The masks are so lovely
These artworks are fantastic ones
Nice one!

This is Art at its peak❤️

untitled.gif

This would be a collection I would like to have: one of masks. I have thought throughout my life about having a wall full of them. However, the challenges of living have not allowed me to spend on it.

My favourite here is this one:

image.png

I would love to see you in one of those masks! I've seen them used for decor before and it's fitting that you would enjoy decorating a wall with them. I have no idea how much that would cost to make happen but one could always make their own masks of the sort.

I know that's not the same but it's a happy-medium to buying the fancy expensive ones just for decoration. I am part Cajun so Mardi-Gras masks have been a thing since I was young... but I always like the porcelain-painted clown masks myself. I love the one you chose. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment!

untitled.gif

My idea was to buy them at the fairs in Havana or elsewhere... there are always some. Of many kinds, especially clay ones.
I kept looking at them with that idea but I never bought them. I was building my house, mind you. And I still haven't finished it. It's still half done. 🙄

Thanks to you.
