Before I begin writing I want thank everyone who has been supporting my posts whether through curations or helpful feedbacks, you’ve been a great help and an ever present source of motivation. This drawing of the Dark Astronomer took some time to make. I made sure that before embarking on it I checked the colours that were readily in my palette and decided which ones I was going to use. As opposed to the power stance of the reference card I went with something simple and to make sure the character’s signature was there.
To properly represent this I adapted the Rune in the card to the background of the drawing. First I drew the rune with my 10B Bianyo and later on coloured the castings with a light purple pencil so as to make it look realistic.
For the making of this drawing, different shades of these colours were used; purple, red, orange, blue, black, brown, peach and pink.
