Making a representation in my illustration style of one of the most famous paintings in the world "The girl with the pearl" by Johannes Vermeer, I did this painting almost two years ago and I wanted to do it again because it never hurts to go back and see your progress in this world of art. I tell you how it was to make it and the step by step as always.
Hola a todos blogueros, espero estén muy bien. El día de hoy vengo a mostrarles mi ultimo trabajo de ilustración. Haciendo una representación en mi estilo de ilustración de una de las pinturas mas famosas en el mundo entero "La chica de la perla" del pintor Johannes Vermeer, esta pintura la hice hace ya casi dos años y quise volver hacerla porque nunca es malo volver a atrás y ver tu progreso en este mundo del arte. Te cuento como fue hacerla y el paso a paso como siempre.

One of the things that inspires me to recreate artwork is that you can see it from your point of view, when I see some famous character I can't help but imagine it as a more tender image, in this case I couldn't help but imagine the mysterious girl in the painting as a little girl with blushing cheeks and a big head XD. The sketch took me longer than I thought because I'm making some changes in the anatomy of my drawings.
Una de las cosas que me inspira a recrear obras de arte es que puedes verla desde tu punto de vista, cuando veo algún personaje famoso no puedo evitar imaginarlo como con una imagen mas tierna, en este caso no pude evitar imaginar a la chica misteriosa de la pintura como una chica pequeña con sus mejillas sonrojadas y con una gran cabeza XD. En el boceto tardé más de lo que pensé porque estoy haciendo ciertos cambios en la anatomía de mis dibujos.

Especially in the size of her head, and I have been studying more the anatomy so that the size and proportions of the body help me to project someone younger or someone older, in this case I wanted to represent a girl no longer very young but rather about 12 years old, so the head is almost proportional to the body. I hesitated a little with the turban because I was not convinced by the size, but then I thought that this big size is really something characteristic of my style.
Sobre todo en el tamaño de su cabeza, y he estado estudiando más la anatomía para que el tamaño y proporciones del cuerpo me ayuden a proyectar alguien mas joven o alguien mas mayor, en este caso quería representar a una niña ya no muy joven si no mas bien de unos 12 años, así que la cabeza es casi proporcional al cuerpo. Dudé un poco con el turbante porque no me terminaba de convencer el tamaño, pero luego pensé que ese tamaño grande realmente es algo característico de mi estilo.

After that I moved on to the pearl, I made it big because I wanted it to look somewhat exaggerated. I like to exaggerate certain features of my illustrations apart from the big heads, so I enlarged the size of the pearl. The previous version of this illustration that I did a year ago, had a much wider head, I put eyebrows and the painting was very different, this time I corrected many things that I didn't know a year ago and I think it improved a lot.
Después de eso pasé a la perla, la hice grande porque quería que se viese algo exagerado. Me gusta exagerar ciertos rasgos de mis ilustraciones a parte de las grandes cabezas. así que por ello amplié el tamaño de la perla. La anterior versión de esta ilustración que hice hace un año, tenia la cabeza mucho mas ancha, le puse cejas y el pintado era muy distinto, esta vez corregí muchas cosas que no sabia hace un año y creo que mejoró bastante.

The colors of this painting is something that I also like a lot, and unlike when I paint any other illustration this time I showed the urinal colors with the dropper so that it would have more of a personal essence. I loved doing this painting again, let me know if you liked it and if there is another one you would like to see me do.
Los colores de esta pintura es algo que también me gusta mucho, y a diferencia de cuando pinto cualquier otra ilustración esta vez muestree los colores orinales con el cuenta gotas para que tuviera mas la escencia personal.
