The quick buck is what will make curators not want to vote for you. Just being here for easy rewards and not actually committing is an easy way to make doing well very difficult. It'd be like going to a bar and just drinking a beer in the corner all by yourself and then stealing the money out of the tip jar before you leave. I think it sounds much better to drink with a group of people and then pay for your consumption like a respectable human being. Hopefully, that metaphor makes sense.
It's crazy you've been on here even longer than I have. 3 months more to be exact. 2017 was a year when many people started taking crypto seriously for the very first time.
Social media is always going to be filled with shit posts and I think it's okay to have some here and there. Especially ones that are funny, because it doesn't have to be long and high quality to make me laugh. I do however think that something of high quality is much more likely to be respected by a larger number of people which means more curation.
Sounds like these last few months have been some of your best and I'm very happy for you to be finding success. It's a good thing you never gave up.
I do get your metaphor incase you were wondering... And besides having a great time and enjoying it more adds value to your own perspective of it all.....
The thing is... As I write more and more it becomes easier so to speak? I dont think I write the most amazing shit, sometimes I cringe at what I write. But it becomes less effort for me... Less forced if I can say that.. It starts to feel natural and I enjoy it now. It doesn't necessarily feel like work to write a post anymore. I can easily find myself at 1k to almost 2k words in my posts 😂.. However I try to keep them short it doesn't always work for me... Im a blabbering person 😂😂
Like this comment😂😂
Reffering back to social media.. Since I came back to Hive the last time.. I swear ive not had more than 2 hours on FB and Insta combined,.. To be honest when I open either I feel that it's really only a lot of negativity.. Where as Hive opens me up to creativity.. I know it sounds cliche... But seriously... Even the lowest of effort posts from people feels to me like someone is trying you know... If that makes sense..
Laughs also... I can't even remember why I left the previous time.. I geuss life happened?
Funnily enough.. My hive account Birthday is on my actual birthday 😂😂 Atleast im pretty sure it is..
That's a huge bonus of writing regularly... you can process your thoughts so much better and it makes having regular conversations face to face a whole lot more natural.
I would say I dropped all the old social medias, because I pretty much did. However I do still use YouTube religiously. Twitter and Facebook I still have Amy get on daily, but not for much for than vital info or a good laugh.
Very convenient for you to remember your Hive account birthday. Mine isn’t my birthday, but the fact that it is the first day of the last month of the year makes it pretty easy to keep track of for me.
